It is terrible to see hate posts on Asma or anyone for that matter. There is a limit beyond which we should not cross in our conduct ; especially in an open public forum. We can comment on her singing but anything more does not reflect well. Personally I think she is a very nice person.

Summerji, I am glad to see this post of yours. It is disheartening to see so many posts filled with sarcasm, hatred, and things that people in general would not bring up in public. I noticed there are people in particular on this forum, consistently criticizing or making a remark on contestants from one particular region and enjoy putting that region down. The truth is in these contests around India people tend to vote for their favorites no matter what. There are plenty of examples of that every year but some of these people are alright with that as long as that contestant is not from that particular region.

I agree with Summer. She is a good hman being and no one should comment on her except for singing quality only.

Thank you for this thread Summerji. I have also noticed the insensitive comments that some have posted on this forum about various contestants. This may sound obvious but I have to say it: these "contestants" are real people too. They have feelings and all the things we do. I think some people temporarily forget that and post such disheartening comments. I hope some people can learn to treat others fairly and not to post hateful comments toward a contestant based on his/her region (like Bellevue pointed out) or any other form of categorization. Let's just discuss the singing!

Asma has become an object of hate like Mauli was in 2007. Some people seem to have a gut reaction against her.. She is pretty, witty , charismatic and her singing is improving steadily. She deserves support.

there is actually too much negativity on the forum this year, everytime i come i see people complaining either some one got eliminated or other way around!
Anyways, as for Asma..she is Mauli of this yr, obviously they are going to keep her for rating..obviously she won't win. Just let it go..
Enjoy the rest of the performances😃
