Aditya Narayan plays Dracula in debut film | 2008-09-24

I was the first to break the news a few months back about singer cum show host, Aditya Narayan getting his acting break as a male lead star in a Vikram Bhatt film.
That time Vikram had plans to launch Aditya in a romantic film opposite two new female leads. But the unexpected success of his spooky thriller '1920' has got Vikram changing his plans to make a horror flick with Aditya in the lead instead!
More screams, more blood curdling comedy in the name of horror!
My source revealed, "Vikram's next starring Aditya Narayan titled 'Shapit' (cursed) will feature Aditya in a very challenging role for any newcomer. He is playing a cursed rake who turns a blood sucking vampire cursed by a jilted lover. The curse is given to ensure that he never gets intimate with the gal he loves. The twist is that the curse given to his character is such that if he gets intimate with any girl then he will end up killing her by sucking her blood."
How original! Such gems can only come out of Vikram Bhatt's copy cat factory! After the gory cat eating scene in '1920', how yucky is he finally going to get? The audience truly is 'Shapit' to watch such films!
When I decided to get a comment about his debut film and his dracula role in it, Aditya had to say, "I cannot reveal much at this moment. But the script is mind blowing and Vikram is definitely going to surprise everyone. I am lucky to get such an author backed role in my very first film as a male lead."
It doesn't sound mind blowing but mind numbing dear Aditya!
By the way Aditya do you think such a film and a role will ensure you future projects?
"Why will it not? I may sound too immodest but even I was surprised by my own popularity when I recently made a trip to the US. I had young girls tearing my clothes. I was almost stripped during one of my shows there. I am sure my debut film will definitely be anticipated by my fans."
