If sa re ga ma pa is a 'musical' show, they should bring back Shashi. Not only that Shashi and Pratibha are leagues ahead of the rest of the competition. Even if Shashi comes back, they will try to kick him out soon, as they did twice earlier.

I will not be surprised to see Tarun (the tragedy king) and Aasma ( comedy queen) to be back. That will be pathetic.

And we have parallel entry at this point from zee SRGM Marathi and Bangla winner, how justified is that, so thats how channel plans to increase the no of contestants from Indian side..?

Personally his singing never touched my heart the way amanat did ? he might be good classically trained but somewhere he lacks the style needed in bolywood singing

Though I don't agree that Shashi lacks something for bollywood singing, I do think he is much more talented than what it takes to be a bollywood singer. Look at all the people who are singing in movies today and how many can even think of singing 'sari sari raat' with re-takes, forget about live performance!

But after all, why benchmark everything against bollywood?

I think you could have argued "not fit for boolywood" even for greats like Nusrat, so this argument is quite irrelevant. In fact, in some cases it may be a complement 😊

Amanat had created a very positive impression right from the beginning rounds. ...so i dont agree that shashi needs to stay longer to craete an impression.

comparing Nusrat and shashi is wrong..... they r class apart and NFK has created an impact even in pop and bollywood kinda songs...

I believe Ashaji had made a right comment on Shashi. He needs to take her advise seriously...

Why does everyone make such a big issue about he being classically trained...most of the participants these days r classically trained also....and to add kishore kumar was not classically trained ....

this year i think the girls r better than the boys. Havent got any favorites yet......but among those who have impressd me so far i would say pratibha, yashita,mitika,naina.....kaushik,zaheer,debojit.....who else....even arshad and anupama were good but they didnt get a comeback chance....

I don't see what the hoo hah is about Shashi.. so he sings NFAK songs fairly okay but he leaves absolutely no impact.. it sounds like he just practiced it and then sang.

There is certain something missing.. it sounds like he doesn't know/care what the words mean...

When Mussarat sang, he engrossed you.. when the sufi singers in a rival show sing NFAK compositions, they take you to a trance.. that's what NFAK's songs do... Shashi just doesn't evoke the same emotions in me sry2say..

heck even Tarun's renditions of NFAK songs are way better and has a soul, so what if he missed a sur here and there (but to a normal listener like me, i hardly even notice it)..
