well the round wasn't really religious they were just celebrating a festival so what's wrong with that? last year on lil champs they celebrated christmas and in the past they have celebrated many festivals. Maybe this year they'll celebrate Eid also.

I'm not sure, I'm a little ambivalent on this point. I don't like them bringing religion in these shows either because there are contestants of different religions. However, I guess that they weren't singing religious songs, so its not as significant.
I don't thinks this post is meant to discuss multi-cultural mixing and the role of one religion in the other.
The fact that a theme is based around one specific religion, I feel it just makes one feel uncomfortable at times. I dunno.
Not that I'm against any religion whatsoever. 😃
