Welcome to the IF SRGMP Singing Contest
Round 5 - Mentor's Thread!!!

The theme for this round is -

Bhakti Sangeet

All the mentors should collect the songs from their respective gharana contestants and post the entries here on the last day of Round 6 submission. The result of Round 5 will be announced AFTER the songs of Round 6 are posted.

The ones who are eliminated, their songs will not be sent to the judges. And if for any reason the last date gets extended then the results will also be posted on that extended last date

Note : Mentors ,please be reminded that the next round, i.e. Round 7 is the Wild Card Entry Round. So please get in touch with the eliminated participants of your gharana and start the preparations. For other details on themes etc , please check out Round 7 details at :

Have a query. In this round are the contestants allowed to sing Hindi Bhakti Sangeet which are not from films????

Megha, 7th round is the wildcard round and we dont know when this particular round will be wrapped up (in case we have some extensions).. Announcement will come up as we proceed towards the next round.. Those eliminated in the 6th round will also be a part of wild card and so there is some planning required over there..

I understand your situation. Actually it was in the interest of my participant and myself If we got at least two more rounds cleared before Sept. Since college starts here in Sept. and we both have hectic schedules. Just thought of explaining my reason for asking 😊.

Megha, You can always ask the contestants to record the songs and keep.. So, u dont have to spend much time during the season...

Great suggestion will do it if I can get early responses from others. But I'll pm you regarding my situation in sept. 😃

Here's another round of extension.....the dates r being extended till 14th august midnight.......

Results too would be posted the same day after submission gets over...
