i wanna know few things..

how can i add someone to my friendlist? i tried goin to that person's profile.. but therez no option like 'this person can send u PMs' or 'add to friendlist' ...can someone offer some help?

another thing... will we get the option of "my last 10 participated topics" in the new layout?

I read many comments by Donny, IBSerenity and heaven_view and I 100% agree with them. I am very much disliking it ever since it has gotten changed! I also dont think I will adjust to the new layout even when it gets completely re-vamped though yes, I ma give it a chance. *sighs*
Second, I know many are saying that the new layout took a lot of hardwork and time and that its for IF-members ONLY but why doesnt one see that whether THOSE members like it or NOT? Maybe a lil preview kind of thing could have been shown to the members and asked whether it will be liked or not before going into so much details and hardwork. I am also feeling bad for one and ONLY reason:-- The whole new layout took a lot of hardwork and efforts but is not being liked by the members themselves

This does not happen when logging in from the Home page. But when I use the "Quick Login" feature from a forum page, I'm greeted with a message box saying "You have 0 new Private messages". I cancel, of course, but it's mildly annoying, as if I click OK by mistake, the new messages page does not have an easy way to navigate back to the forum page I was on.

The new design looks alright, I still think the old IF was much better, It would be great if IF could go back to the way it was.

P.S. VJ Internet Explorer wont let me log into IF...it just refreshes the page after I log in and nothing happens. I cleared all my cookies and temp files. And that blue stripe is still showing on the side in Fire Fox.

everything else is ok with me... but i was earlier too against I-F being a "social networking site" and i still am. basically, I-F was created so that ppl cud "discuss" "tv shows" and not jus chit-chit abt..wht u doin.. or hey i went on a vacation!!! visiting profiles,..n now one can even see who visited ones profile!!

though i really like the new look...but please please do not change I-F into a social networking site...if I-F has to be like orkut or facebook..then what difference does it make that we come to I-F or go n chat on orkut?? I-F's motive will be defeated if it is made into something like orkut. I-F was different n thatz why i loved coming here... but all the charm seems to be goin :(

umm everytime i log on i geta thingy saying i have 0 new PM's. dats kinda annoying, before it wud only cum wen i had a PM. can we change dat to how it was...i rly dun need to know dat i have 0 new PM's lol
