PS: I have a humble suggestion, since many the members and admins are tech savvy, isn't it possible to develop an IF toolbar which can downloaded and installed into the web browsers, containing all the features of IF and customizable as per the individual needs of the registered members?

OKay..................i've posted so many replies here asking for help....can someone atleast give it a try.....i gave this layout a fair chance but im just hating it even more as it continues to annoy me!

Sorry but I really do not like the new layout. Please bring the old one back. Its complicated and its hard to access some sections.
You can see the new layout is turning out to be really unpopular. The amount of members who visit the site has gone down by over half since the new layout has taken place.
Please do something about it. I used to love visiting this site but not anymore.

Its only today( a holiday) that I got a chance to go through almost all the pages in the site and as a big fan of this site I cudnt resist posting some feedbacks. I am in the IT field and accept every changes if its good. The new look is a good effort from your side.

Earlier, I never bothered to go through various sections, everything was so scattered. Now the arrangement of tabs are really wonderful. dint go through video and podcast sections yet, and I differ from opinions of everybody else.....I reallly liked the new look. Now I came to know that there are so many sections in this site. 🙂......This is much better than the other one.


So far I dint encounter any bugs so I thot not to use the sticky topic, instead, I would like to make some suggestions

1. First and foremost I suggest that the the page view is different for guests and registered users. This will improve the usablity of users that frequently login. The current UI favours guest visitors.
   
2. Main page - The most popular celebrity section is really wonderful idea, but how is the stars rated? Please add a rating section just below the star's profile pic so that fans can add the ratings 🥰
3. In the popular television shows, it would be better if the user selects the shows to be displayed and the current list can be viewed by the guest.
4. The last section below - India forums development section, y is it visible to me when I cant access any of those..!!
5. It would be better if harrypotter and twilight is included in the books section and those space be used for something else more creative.
6. The quick links is really wonderful
   
7. Edit page - The menu bar appears in two lines eventhough there is space for displaying it in one single line.
   
8. It would have been better if there are more emoticons and the preview for emoticon appears useless.
   
9. Getting into channel page - the whole arrangement is really good. But its not consistent for every channel.
10. In the About page, please include the phone num or the contact mail id of every channel.
11. In the programs please remove all the shows that are not aired anymore to the archives section. Its so annoying to see them in the popular section. I hope there is activity in the archived section too...
12. In the home page of every programs, if the artist section doesnt show any images then cant that be disabled?
13. Please update the summary section of every program on a monthly basis. I think moderators can do that. It would help people to know more about the program, esp when they visit after long interval.
14. There is a separate section for videos....gr8 all the video updates will go in that section. What about written updates and pic updates? 😀
15. Please include the whole cast of the show. esp in kyunki there must a big troop, but that would be really nice to correctly track the program. And if possible give a small character sketch of them.
    
16. On moving to different threads, please add the "back to top" or "back to discussion"link. Now after reading the whole discussion we have to move up and then click the discussion link.
17. Please add a "post reply" link, the one that takes to main edit page along with the quick reply.
    
18. There should be more additional features in the edit page when compared with the quick reply. Is there really a need to show the last post in the edit page?
19. In search tab the top of the page please include search for television shows and other sections also.
20. Please add the name of the moderators in the pages of the programmes also.

first it was the mailbox....then it was the quotes....and now....my avatar and siggies dont work!!!

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS???.....

how come i see vid avatars for other people but can't change my own??......i cant even see my siggies.....and i DID activate it from my settings!!!!

this new layout is irritating me so much....its tempting me to quit IF.......and i think its going to happen very soon if i dont get the help i need!

thanks for bringing back the PM notification box....but its messed up....last night i signed in and it said i had three PMs.......i checked them and deleted them.....this morning i sign in and it tells me i have three PMs again.......but when i go to my inbox...there are no messages in there......try and fix that please.

I SUGGEST YOU HAVE A POLL TO SE EIF ANYONE LIKES IT AND THEN TAKE ACTION FROM THERE?
