I get the context maintenance part and ensuring the flow of the conversation..But personally, if I block someone I don't want to see any context related to them like their quoted posts..it's like you block someone on social media and they still show up in your stories..

Also i don't want them to see my posts. As if they can see my posts they will definitely indulge in mocking with their friends openly but unfortunately i can not see that as i have blocked them.

Block should mean i should not see their posts and they should not see mine posts. I do not want to block someone so that they can mock behind my back.

Exactly I agree, blocking should mean they shouldn't see my posts too or I won't know what they're discussing based on that on the threads and sometimes people mock others indirectly....it's better if both parties can't see each others posts to avoid this issue.

The blocking feature is absolutely amazing and it’s made the IF experience so much better and drama free. However, I wanted to bring your attention to a remaining flaw in the blocking system which still allows posts to be viewed of someone you’ve blocked.
It’s when someone you haven’t blocked reblogs the post of someone you have blocked In that case, you get the post even when you have blocked the person. If something can be done about it that would be great Something that erases the reblogged portion of the post.

I'm getting a lot of complains about the block feature Vijay. Apparently members are able to see posts of members they have blocked. Can this be fixed at the earliest?

We did have a block feature earlier but this one seem much improved . Thank you for adding additional features into the blocking . I guess we need to change n adapt to the changing scenario in the forum . Many members have been demanding this for a long time . I am sure they all are going to be very happy . No more stress of seeing posts of individuals one wants to avoid .
