Just have a suggestion, I don't know if it's doable but I was just thinking, the FF/WC sections are planning on holding more writing focused contests to encourage more writers/writing on IF. I think it would be great incentive if we could possibly feature the winning entry somewhere on the new FF site as a highlight e.g. Monthly Contest Winner or a similar concept. Also Zo suggested maybe also adding badges for winning authors' under their UN.

Yes it’s completely doable and we will work on it. Already similar idea was pitched by Koeli too and it was decided let a few more writers join in before we start this contest.

There are many sites where when a writer uodate, the followers automatically get a notification so writer do not have to alert them.

Is this feature also gonna be introduce here?? Or can you work on it please. Thank you.

I am a little apprehensive about migrating my fics but will hopefully give it a try soon.

It is already implemented and I am getting alerts when ever there is a new fan fiction posted by the author I follow.

One of the biggest reason to work on Fan fiction was to address this particular pain point for writers.

Can someone please confirm if they are getting notifications when a new fan fiction or chapter added.

Yes I do get notification whenever the author I follow adds a new fiction and also whenever the author updates a story I have followed.

Many FFs and OS s are there in the BV forum and most of the writers stopped visiting the IF after the serial's completion. Surabhi🤗 , I second your suggestion. 👏That serial itself was a trendsetter, many international members ascended to participate in daily conversations and take part in almost all the threads. Please do something to save the precious works of the illustrious writers.😊

P.S: I think all old FFs should be migrated because most of the old writers have left therefore they cant migrate it themselves

Please note that, currently we (ffe/s) are not migrating ffs. Only the authors are allowed to migrate. But eventually we will be migrating all once we get a green signal from the technical team. For now we are letting the current authors migrate. :) so that they are aware of how things function in the new forum. :)
