To be frank I seldom use phone to access IF.

If you select desktop option in your browser's settings in your phone, you will be able to see Add Buddy tab.

I am using mobile. Friends request option is not in profile but in top right by clicking dp there is option as friend request but still don't how to send friends request

Actually there is no notification of friends request. One has to check friends request to c any new friends

yeh we can do it by visiting profile.

but in old forum we use to get add buddy button on comment beside other buttons like, quote. that was shortcut to add buddy.

But that buddy request in profile is not available in my mobile

I can' not add hyperlink to text if the address is https

So to link to IF main page, I typed www.indiaforums.com/ instead of https://www.indiaforums.com/. Writing http://www.indiaforums.com/ works too.

I know it isn't a global problem and some people can add links to text without any tricks.
