There was this show's forum which was quite active with mo mods. Members of that forum used to open ATs of each and every character of the show without taking mods permission. In every page, there would be just one sentence posts. Sometimes, I used to see one member spamming for pages by posting just one sentence in each post.

I had once requested them to stop spamming but they didn't listen to me. Instead they said they are doing all these to increase forum activity and the no. of pages of ATs.

So my request is please appoint at least a viewbie for every forum because spamming mostly takes place in forums with no mods.

They need to delete peoples post like this^^ they are the ones who are spamming and becoming high ranked posters when they are posting only one sentence per post then there are people who are actually genuine and post properly and they are the ones who get their posts taken away! There are many people like this on IF that do things like you have put a link towards!

Good initiative...but I really hope I didn't spam too much to get de promoted as Sizzler...I don like that colour :(

i also notice some id's replying on threads especially WU with random letters only,, 😕

Thank you so much for this step . A much necessary one . Frankly , I was getting so tired seeing random spamming everywhere , specially in creation galleries just to post creations on a new page . I don't care if I lost some posts in this process . Rank was/is never important to me .

I agree many forums only have one or not any!

Also a suggestion - please do something so that members won't be able to quote more than 3 times . I have seen people quoting more than 10 times , making pages unnecessary heavy .

Thank you for bringing this up, but I have a question.
Why don't you clean up some "old" and "inactive" Members by deleting some of them.

There are soo many Members Member Panel

And some of them created their accounts on 2008 and last login was the same and without any Posts.
By removing some Members, would this site go smoothly?
And it's very easy to create MIDs to insult people and blame someone else for the act.
Can't we have a restriction that the same IP can only create max. 3 accounts? That would be a relieve to everyone.
