Will old threads be removed from the site as well?

Like in some old forums there are threads from years back. These are like really old forums. Also will a delete your account feature ever be introduced even if it is something that only top level admins can access.

I agree we all do sometyms in AT's n all ..

But in my opinion it shpuld be from now onwards .. old posts should not be considered ..

But as they are thinking about their Servers and cleaning their disks so that rathet than adding more space ..reduce the junk and reutilize it ..

Well i m still saying 20k posts.. not fair 😳

Thank you for the great initiative. I am sure this is for the betterment of the site.

Likewise, could you also please take few more stricter action against MODs who are not doing their duties or not responding to requests like unlocking threads and deleting threads. My story got plagiarized and I wanted to remove my story from this portal for the last 2 months. But All the threads have been locked so there is not much I could do to take my FFs down without involvement of this portal management. I have sent many requests to Fanfiction Forum Mods, Global Mods and You included but no action so far has been taken and none responded.

I understand you all must be very busy with your life, so is everyone who is contributing to the success of this portal. Hence, I appreciate you appoint MODS who are genuinely willing to help your users. Or may be you should categorize your MODS into some who are responsible for handling disciplinary actions and some who can handle minimal tasks like locking/unlocking/deleting posts or threads..Let me know if you need help with that, I am willing to help you with that.

Just so you know, I am still waiting for someone to respond to my requests which I had sent (still sending) in last 8 weeks. Not just me, there are so so so many wonderful writers waiting for the MODS assistance in similar tasks. Hope you don't disappoint us and make us abandon this portal altogether.

Please provide (timely) help!

Great initiative Mr. Vijay.

I really used to feel so irritated seeing such huge amount of spamming, specially in forums where there are no mods.

I have one more concern.

Whenever u post the Chaska meter ratings of celebs and shows, people spam a lot in those threads. These threads reach 300-400 pages just by spamming. Some people even create MIDs to spam their fav shows and celebs names. Can u please do something on that?

Another request- can u please appoint more global mods?

One Suggestion

As u post Chaska Meter ranking every week

Rather make post not open for comments n restrict to likes only or else Make it limited to one post per user if they try to post more they will get Error Message. This will highly improve performance n even if people want they will not be able to comment more than once.

I know this can be tricky at technical end but when thread reaches 150 pages it should automatically be locked not to let extra posts.This will reduce Work for Mods to lock topics and they can concentrate on other things too

i agree with what you have said because our forum moderator is not good at all this person doesn't reply to our concerns and we have requested many things like banner changes, new mods, things about characters and we haven't had one reply. i understand that they are busy but they could at least answer to our problems because our own moderator isn't doing anything. i applied to be a moderator so i could do things for my forum but i have had no reply for that as well! it is unfair and i thinking some people shouldn't be mods if they don't even come online!

Sir, I have few concerns regarding spamming.

I have observed in forums where there are no mods that a different kind of spamming would go on. Not everyone would be posting smileys or Thank u or +1 posts.

There was this show's forum which was quite active with mo mods. Members of that forum used to open ATs of each and every character of the show without taking mods permission. If they had to write something about the character, instead of writing everything in one post, they would keep making posts to write each and every sentence. In every page, there would be just one sentence posts. Sometimes, I used to see one member spamming for pages by posting just one sentence in each post.

I had once requested them to stop spamming but they didn't listen to me. Instead they said they are doing all these to increase forum activity and the no. of pages of ATs.

So my request is please appoint at least a viewbie for every forum because spamming mostly takes place in forums with no mods.
