What made you think Vijay sir would recklessly give a nod to something that would affect and upset so.many members?

Do you think he did not anticipate al this ??

The problem is if you give new rule it must affect further but not on past things. Just my opinion. It is that I felt it is like some achievement in changing color(of course not by spamming unnecessarily). All I want is that to develop a code which shouldn't accept one line comments/single words comments instead of removing once they are done. I lost only some 1000+ comments it's not a big deal. I am member here only from past 2.6 years. But what about people who gave their most of time spending in IF(more than 8 years). I felt bad for them. Stopping fuss before it is done is always better than taking action after done. As a member I feel so. I don't mind if people agree or not.

Spamming to attain high ranks is not correct . It will be injustice to those who work hard to post important topics ...create beautiful threads ... I am so glad the DT has decided to put a.stop.to the spam posts ...but why should any one miss his/her spam posts ??

I never spammed any thread unnecessarily (talking about myself) except positing one line comments in ranking threads randomly but not regularly(may be they call spam). Talking about software (it must be user friendly) and of course IF is far better than many sites it has excellent GUI and user friendly(though i don't say it is mobile friendly)and there is nothing to do with software but it is all about coding, though I am from technical background I don't really know if there code can stop affecting only on further comments but it definitely is possible. But if you're maintaining big website like India forums , one must well aware of the developments and aftermaths right. I really don't have sound knowledge on coding. I am working on it and I really wish I could help India forums.

Yup exactly just like in articles (it should warn post should be minimum of some xxx characters). And regarding user's opinion yeah they may or may not take into account. Vijay should have warned us before (It not only reduce their burden in filtering posts but also spammers wouldn't post ridiculous stuff unnecessarily further just to increment their post count). Now India forums is running successfully only because of it's viewers/users. So without their consent it is nothing right. Just make your user's happy and contended. I am asking not to please but just make them happy(atleast 60% of user's). If i want i can act mute or just quit but i chose to raise my voice and sharing my opinion because i think as a user i have this right 😊
