this decision would big time effect ffs as all the index will get messed up...losing posts can b compensated but how can we reconstruct all those indexes...it's very difficult...so rather than deleting the previous posts, kindly start it from a particular date after informing all the members...this measure is similar to the demoneytisation in india...though it may have benefits in regard to the forum at the end of the day, the users r sufferers...at least avoid ffs from the cleaning up...thank u

Vijay Ji whats wrong with post making in IF today...I have hardly made 4-5 posts today and definitely they were not for spamming...but each time I hit post button it keeps on showing the error...
''Spamming is not permitted ...message not posted...you have crossed the limit for max posts today''...

Though our comment gets posted but why this error is showing up repeatedly...its sort of irritating...can you please look into this matter????

I checked the link but can't understand what you're trying to show by that. I can see that there are towers of quotes in that thread.

I had hoped that this tower quoting problem would be dealt with but nothing such happened yet.

i think i lost around 3k posts a few days ago which is fine as it was probably from spamming celebrity ranking and birthday threads with pics way back when.

and when i logged onto IF right now i still had 7712 posts (same as a few days ago) and it stayed that number while i was going through different articles and forums. but i just commented on a thread and my post count immediately dropped to 7706 😲

i've never made a single +1 post so is this a second purge of some other types of comments and is it going to happen every time i comment on a post? because now i'm wondering if i should stop commenting anywhere or carry on to see how low i go 🤓 (also wondering what'll happen when i post this comment )

edit - ok it went up by one post, does this mean i'm done with comments getting deleted? 😛
