Hellooo, this means all of those one liner spam posts on the CM rank thread have been removed. If your rank only went up to due to these spam posts, you don't deserve that rank. Stop hounding Vijay... he's just trying to improve the performance of the site.

It's shocking that people have made as many as 20k spam posts. Wow.

That is why we need more Mods so that a check can be made as soon as the first offense has been made...If I am starting a fight by calling someone a name...I should be asked to shut up...what happens is that because there is no action...the other party also name calls out of frustration...

That is why we need MORE mods on the BW section...because Mods cannot be on the forum 24/7...we come to the forum at our leisure ...why should the Mods be expected to be here all the time...but if there are more Mods...then maybe they can set up a time amongst them...so that atleast one is here...

Also, not sure if BW forum has a status requirement, but maybe having newbies not post would help stop the stupidity and MID crap.

It'll teach people to not react to name-calling, etc.; it should significantly reduce the bashing; and will make people think twice since it's not easy to get access again. More mods helps distribute the handling, but the two situations someone mentioned earlier (the ADHM controversy and the Uri attacks) were of serious situation that needed to be handled properly.

That or give each "group" a thread where they can openly bash and vent in (not likely since it breaks the rules). At the end of the day, who gives a shit what some internet baby says about you. If it's true, learn something from that; if it's false, ignore them, laugh it off, and forget about it.

Thanks for taking this step. Yes it has affected me as I write stories in one of the forums. Now the original links that I had posted in the index on the first page of the threads, don't match with the new page numbers of the chapters, because few posts got deleted. But I also understand why you needed to do this.

It is really annoying when it takes ages for a page to load. I hope that it helps with this problem and pages load faster in future.

I have to point out one major issue to you.

I have been writing Fictions in one of the forums since last four years or so. Earlier I used to worry about plagiarism and my stories getting stolen by anyone. (It had happened with me once, when someone stole my Write-up and posted it on Facebook. One of my friends found out about it and made that person take it down).

So when you made the announcement of protecting writers stories by starting the feature of "NOCOPY". I was relieved thinking that now my stories are safe.

To my utter surprise, two of my readers, told me that they don't get time and hence they copy and save my updates so that they can read them later, when they are free.

I was shocked to hear this. I mean how can they copy them after I use the "NOCOPY!" feature? (If you want I can PM you their comments).

I trust both of them so I am not worried about them copying them. But if they can Copy so can others. That means this method of protecting stories with "NOCOPY" feature is not full proof.

I had read someone's comment (in your NOCOPY announcement thread) that if you start the feature where the title "India-Forums" appears in the background of every page (I don't know what it's called). Then only our stories will be safe and we will be able to write without any fear.

If you make a separate thread on this topic and post my comment on the top, I'm sure many more writers will come and agree with me and make the same request to you.

So Please do consider about this and take necessary action and make necessary changes.

We have also noticed that the numbers of views in our Fictions threads keeps increasing but we get only few comments. That means that we have got stalkers who stalks our stories.

Is there any way to stop them?

Or introduce some features where they can't (even others also) read the chapter till they Hit the Like Button. This way writers will know who are reading their stories. The more number of Likes a writer gets, the more they gets encouragement to write further.

But it is really disappointing when we notice that our thread are being stalked (as the views increases) and we get so less likes and comments.

I know it won't be easy to do something about stalkers, but we (all writers) will be grateful if you do find a solution for it.
