And who knows there may be minimal reduction in such posts in past few days because of this minute warning in forum...then why not promote this warning...instead they have started deleting posts...its clear they have planned it already and no matter what members suggest they will do it at any cost...because they know at the end of day members dont matter much...they can come and go...but its their income that shouldn't get affected from the declining standard of this site ...instead of using advance technologies and softwares to manage the issues they have come up with this clean up mission...ofcourse its a wrong decision on their part...never heard on any other site that they are deficient in space or slow so they will delete old stuff of members so that new one can be accomodated...I must be sounding rude but its a harsh reality...one accepts it or not...

India Forums is today because of its members and we will remain user centric always. And this decision was taken to improve the quality of the site. We never said we are deficient in space but yes we want to retain the best of the content and filter out the +1 type posts.

Members are getting affected because they are going to lose their ranks. But somewhere deep down we all know that some of them got it just by spamming and which was not right. We have 2 option we can continue to let many simply do the same or bring some change. We have chosen the latter and which is not as easy as it looks.

I am certain and convinced that once this is done many will be appreciating that we did something about this problem.

I will just request your support and co-operation in this matter as you all have always done in the past.

Forum needs to be cleaned up and it should not be restricted only to the oneliner comments. Swift and unbiased moderation is need of the hour. Action should be taken against those who shows their muscle by threatening other members. There should be absolute zero tolerance to the bullying.

Completely Agree.

Most of the Sane members have left the forum and most are in verge of leaving because of all the insanity that constantly happens plus the preferential treatment is too much to bear.

(I want to quote this to bring this to attention. Enough of the shit that happens here.)

Okay vijay ji if you are saying so...no harm in believing that only +1 type posts will get removed...not other posts or whole threads or links...

You said spamming is not right...ok I agree...but what about members having fun time with their buddies in threads that is also labeled as spamming...one can stick to meaningful talks when posting about show in main topics but why members cant post how they want to when chat clubs and AT's are exclusively meant for discussions...afterall they are here to have some great time...every group has its own style of utilizing their time in IF...and I can see many people have problem even with this thing...that why members post like this or that way...why using emoticons...why putting links etc...come on everyone has his/her own way of expressing things...
Seriously never get it why everything is stamped as spamming...even when users have no intention of doing this crime...or they know about it least...I am mentioning about the majority not all users...

And Vijay ji when you know members are mostly suffering because of this rank issue then why dont you come up with some alternative to this...you can reduce the no of posts for achieving a particular rank...people will automatically wont feel the need to spam threads...

I can understand...how tough it would be to do but you could have done it from present time onwards...

I am certain and convinced that once this is done many will be appreciating that we did something about this problem.

Btw like button not works most of the time...I forgot to mention it in my yesterday's post...
And one more suggestion sir...it will surely help you maintain good content in forum and will be answering queries of lots of fresh members...

Give a thread, small fading out sliders on page top or some sort of guidelines mentioning:
1.Recent changes in rules,new warnings or new features etc...
2.What are +1 posts in detail...so that all members can know about them...
2.In WU threads,FF threads,Creation and VM galleries if one cant use thank you etc then how can one show gratitude to readers or members commenting on their posts besides hitting a like button...need examples.

This should be an automated thing in IF

From one IP adress only one ID allowed ... No mod /GM /Admin need to waste their time on this matter banning members , only after the first is deleted/banned can you open new ID .

Also Vijay sir ... requesting you to take in more "behind the scenes helping hands "who could be given the job of sticky and unsticky in all forums ... Making members happier ... They need not moderate forums or members ...

A membert can login from different IP addresses how you address that problem of MIDs only when a member logs in from the same Laptop/Ipad/computer/mobile you can maybe identify them.

Vijay Bhai 😃 you prefer to take steps and the process to maintain and give quality in IF 😃 that we can understand 😳 but please understand equally our emotions too in this IF site connected 😳 IF is our second home 😃 .changes, modifications like this also effects sentiments of us who regularly in touch with IF ⭐️ .i still requesting Reconsider this initiative please which in your and your Development Team thought about providing good quality and expecting afterwards appreciation for this move 😳 but most of the members not tend to that side 😛 we are very much emotionally connected here 😳 we always excited towards climbing ladders 😛 and turning into new levels 😳 Goldie-Dazzler-Rocker-Sizzeler-Stunnerz-Achieverz-and so on ⭐️ .in other SNS and other sites not provided this special appreciation procedure to associated members in it 😛 .this post's and ladders are the main attractions and addition to the members who continue here and enjoy with associates with the +1 posts too very much 👏 .

You and Your Development Team only created all this stuff in IF which given us much more entertainment and family environment 👏 for that we always felt gratitude towards IF site that only this area we got so much 😃 .This steps how much effect our sentiments connected here bhai 😭 .its not simple for implementation for you people but taken and equally no Even more hurt to us to witness suddenly the disconnection from the place. from the attachments . 😳 .

Vijay Bhai 😃 how much we connected to IF 😳 most of the people suffered by the problems with MIDs 😲 and personal attacks too I'm one of the member suffered in Naagin2 forum in Colours TV GEC 😆 .which doesn't have active MOD 😛 there .which leads to time time fan fights and personal attacks on members in that forum. we keep requesting for active MOD in our forum and this issue is there in some other Forums too 😳 .i PMed to you too bhai 😉 hoping any day any time you glance over this issues and sort out to give the freedom in IF 😳 .
still the area is same no MOD ⭐️ but can't stop the attachment and connection with IF 😳 ..IF is very valuable place for us members 😃 ..

please look forward the real suffering issues of members and agree with @Meerab who mentioned even more sorting out problems in IF. member friendly 😳 ..

I have been reading the comments from some members and I find it funny because they spammed so much to reach different ranks and then cry foul when the admin is removing posts. I am guessing the admin meant not just +1 or tfs posts but also repeated spamming posts which I always see in the CM and TV celeb ranking threads. I mean is it fair if you use crooked ways to get to different ranking and then cry victim here once u are found to be spamming?

I am supportive of this, it's very annoying to see the Cm ranking threads with repeated posts saying Zindagi Ki Mehek or Kuch Rang Pyar. Worse is the Tv celeb ranking thread. Earlier it used to be a fight for who makes it to top and the fan wars now that most fans have stopped paying attention spammers use that to increase their post count. And some of them are clearly MIDs created to increase the number of fans for their fav celeb and also to make the account look genuine.

Also I have seen several suggestions from some genuine members here and I agree with them. This place needs to have a good group of moderators ASAP. This group of people may not necessarily be a member or fan. I know it's hard to find unbiased member but it's not difficult as well. I have seen a few same members in this forum and I believe they could do a better job being MOD as compared to the sleeping current ones. I can understand they all have their own lives but is it fair for others when they sit on their titles and privilege and don't give as much attention to this position? We have some genuine members who come here daily and sometimes every now and then despite their busy schedule and giving inputs and creating traffic to this place. These people needs to get appreciated unlike the ones who has the privilege but don give a damn about this forum.

This forum may just be a venue for some to entertain themselves but for some it's where they get most of the r happiness in the form of chatting with their friends and also making new friends. I just hope good suggestions are put into place every now and then so that it will be a smooth place for everyone. Thank u admin sir for your efforts, but we deserve more.
