I think have a poll for the maximum serials that IF members watch. Then include the actors from those serials that is max. viewed for the awards for various Categories.

it's a very good idea. But i think it should be called popularity awards. B'coz we in US get limited channel access so we will be thinking about those channels and actors only.

One more thing i am hesitant about is multiple voting. Though Vijay has mentioned that multiple voting will be prohibited, i have a doubt. Before banner contest also same thing was said but there was a bug in the programme and it was not sure whether multiple voting has been done or not. So finally i lost interest in that contest. Same thing should not happen with these awards. Then only it will be fair awards.

There should be every kind of category, and a special best friend category included... this category does not exist in any awards but this has a special importance of it's own... also there should be a best-friends category... where two people are nominated together. For example:

Sujal & Akshat from KTH are friends and they should be nominated together

Karan & Tania from KSBKBT are friends/were friends and should be nominated together

ETC.

You did not mention the favorite Jodi category... that is very important please include it as well.

Apart from these awards that are held twice a year there should also be a 'TOP OF THE WEEK' category that displays all the actors/ backstage people and Story, Serial etc. Weekly, that should be either top 5 or 10.

if we end up having soooo many sub sub categories, i think the emphasis will start weighing on quantity than on quality 😕

How do the winners know about results.Get the results published in media and inform actors through media.
