Oh god, so you mean to say, that the figure in the Total shows the number of baloons we have with us now... Haila!!! It has increased... I am on 192 now... 😕

Let me try to show where the error is:
Vijay's current method:

Opening Balance 200
Add:
+ Balloons Recieved and Answered Incorrectly 76
+ Balloons Recieved and Reclaimed 1
+ Balloons Sent (In Transit) 33

Less:
- Balloons Sent and was answered Incorrectly 128

=> Total 182
--------------------------------------
CORRECT METHOD SHOULD BE:

Opening Balance 200
Add:
+ Balloons Recieved and Answered Incorrectly 76
+ Balloons Recieved and Reclaimed 1

Less:
- Balloons Sent (In Transit) 33 &nbs p;
- Balloons Sent and was answered Incorrectly 128

Total 116

This is still unfair to those who have actively participated but o well...

I disagree with Vijays' calculations (gustakhi maaf).
The opeing balance of 200 balloons should not figure in the calculations as they are already included in the ones sent out.

I think all that needs to be done is to subtract 200 from everyboy's final total score as that is what they started with.

You are absolutely correct mudabid...but the deduction in the number that others got wrong kind of adjusts for that. The problem is taht i know that 160 people got my answers wrong...because i was closely following the questions, etc. so i dont understand (see my earlier post) how the number went down to 128 - because even if the "newbies" got kicked out, i never sent balloons to newbies...i typically sent them through the contest helper in which most people were not newbies (<20 posts)

Vijay, you are stirring a hornet's nest babe...need to check carefully...there is a fundamental error somewhere...else i would suggest that close this contest and just announce the winners...have another contest start with all the coding etc. so that people dont feel 'cheated' out of their time...

we already had one whole round of holi before this was restarted and having a whole new round (which is pretty much what will happen now) is not really fair...But o well, its ur forum and its ur call 😃
