i like ur idea but again what abt the games going in many forums... i think 150 characters is alot coz many games in forums just require a one line reply which is no more than 30 characters

and yes again i also hav to agree wid ana1 that this will stop ppl from posting... they will hav to think a lot before sharing an idea

i think u should restrict it to may be around minimum of 50 characters

that will prevent ppl from just posting thanx and other few words

I honestly think that before this spamming issue, the whole stalking members on IF issue needs to be taken care of.

Okay, I see that you all are trying to make the forum better, but I don't think that this is very fair! I mean some of us are very active in the chat clubs, and over there we are talking in normal conversations: NOT DISCUSSIONS. I think that making a minimum character count spoils our chatting!

Also, sometimes people can have profound things to say that add to the discussion that is less than 150 characters.

I dont understand why other member's comments have been deleted from this post ?! you guys asked for suggestions and members opinions so why are their posts being deleted ? oh i see, because they have given honest and frank criticism instead of praising the development team and sucking upto them ! now we dont even have freedom of speach. In case you are reading this I have a request to reduce the "stalker friendliness" of I-F!

the "My Posts" for each user.. can we make it restricted for a user to see his/her own OLD posts only and not snoop around other people's posts all over I-F???

why give a free hand to any user to see somebody else's post history? I am sure u can help us with this issue along with the take on spamming.

Discussion is what IF is all about and one word posts are really annoying.

I myself hate going through a bunch of pointless posts just to arrive to some good content .. Tfs should be associated with the like button and if one does have some thoughts to share than only should they create post .. I have also noticed ppl writing thanks for articles posted, its better to rate the post than just saying thanks.

I would also like to point out that another thing that frustrates me is ppl starting out of the topic discussions (general hi hello talk) in their posts .. This should be done through pm not under a certain topic .. We must understand that so many ppl read posts and when we click on topics we would like to read stuff related to the topics .. I think the mods should focus on this as well.
