Once upon a time, 26 years ago, as the darkness was poised to dissipate at the first rays of the lazy Tuesday dawn break, a baby was born.
HUH… so what, everyday lots of children are born.. they are born even if the nights not dark or if the dawn breaks late or if it's a rainy dawn. So what was special about this dark dawn!!!
History was made!! Records broken!! Heavens came pouring down!!! The keys on the board went scurrying around like little mice… the servers quaked, the motherboard made urgent calls to its makers for instant upgrades!!!…. And the world of technology woke up with a start to welcome a new born baby called Vijay Bhatter
A computer addict, quicksilver wit, gift of the gab to talk his way out of any situation, ever smiling and very rarely "Down & Busy" and mostly invisible to IFians, such is the multi faceted person called Vijay.
And so we, the India Forums Development Team decided to relive a bit of that history today, 23rd October 2005, and so here is from all of us at India Forums to you Vijay, because, History was made and records were broken. Heavens is still pouring down on the city of Joy and its time to party!!!
