Well, I guess the handful of members who have been discussing about the DT members in depth in this thread have really missed out on one major point..

You people feel we have stopped u from expressing your displeasure about the nominations. The answer to this is a BIG NO... If you check out, the Dev team has never intervened and called for peace when all members expressed their anger over the nominations in the TB article. Nobody did even comment and ask you people as to why you all are not accepting the nominations. Why? Bcos we understand that you as members of the forum have a right to express your views.

When did the DT come into picture in this thread? If you can recollect, few members here raised few questions asking why did IF agree to such nominations and why is it that IF admins are not taking any action to change the nominations.. U people in this very thread said this is a people's forum and we admins needed to take all your suggestions into consideration. Above all, you people demanded an explanation from the Admins. Only then did we come into the picture and wrote here..

Even then, we called for peace not bcos we were against you members expressing your dissatisfaction over the nominations.. It was only bcos you people wanted IF to change the whole course of nominations which is impossible.. We clearly explained that we are just the online internet partners and had no say in nominations. Even then the hue and cry did not stop.

And above all, i see that all the issues are getting mixed up here. If you have a problem with the new layout or anything else, please do not relate it to the awards. It is always better to address problem areas individually.. ..I got this notion after reading Catwoman's reply here..

Yes, your protests and feelings have reached the ears of the authorities of the awards. But nothing more can be done by us... I hope you people understand this and move ahead.. And this is exactly what we meant by saying 'Call for peace'...

I think we should stop arguing about this issue here.. If anything, please pm us...

Thanks Nishtha, sent you PM. I sent a PM to Sree also, but it is still unread. She is understandly busy and my frustration was increasing coz religion is highly sensitive issue .
