Hi Friends,

While going through different comments and suggestions we have recieved a lot of feedback that the change on the number of posts per page has created problem for all the fan-fictions that have been written before the update.

But before reverting back to 8 posts per page instead of current 10 posts per page just wanted to get your views.

Pros:

a) Page will be loading faster and will be less scroll per page.

b) All the old Fan-Fictions would again become working.

Cons:

a) Some of the new fan-fictions that have been started will have problem.

Ahhh, well, I know a lot of the FF writers have updated their indexes already, which is a tough job since many of them had several chapters.

But it would be great to have the old FF's working normally. So would this get rid of the "guests" posts problem?

I don't mind either way!😃 But I think there are more old FFs as opposed to new FFs... so some way or the other, the writers of new FFs will adjust their pages but it will be very helpful for old FF writers b/c they have a lot of pages...😳 So it'll be better if it's changed back to 8 per page...😳

Well the old FF's r longer, and ppl r having problems with the index so the new FF writers dont have a bigger problem as the older FF writers. i reli want 8 per page 😳

Hi Vijay Bjaiya!

I'm a FF writer myself, and when we changed from 8 pages per page to 10, it was extremly difficult to change the index. But I've updated it already!

Just a question tho, how did the forums (for example the Kasturu forums) change from 350 pages to 450?

Guys make ur minds up😕.... dame im working on re indexing all my ffs and u making me redo it again?

jezz..... if u ask me there longer the sigg box the more u scroll...

1. Vijay u have 2 problems.... many ppl have over 2 sigg which make u scroll longer...

2. BTW u know sybmols are not working correctly on the FF's ? each different font u have will display different format of symbols... it making the ff look messy when updating... this need addressing see " , come out as ?? or []

i like the 10 page per post ...either way make a decision

Hmm.. well I just started a new FF, but I only have like a few chapters so its okay. I think its more helpful to everyone to have 8 pages per post, so I think you should change it to 8 too..

But seriously, i prefer 10 pages post per page.. well cuz its an even number.. hehe.. 😆

Hey mimi0295,

I do understand that how much trouble it can be reindexing them and I wish I could do something programmatically that it could automatically be renumbered.

Regarding the forum page count we have reverted back from 20 topics per page to 16 as it was before the Revamp (+2 GA) .
