but they could have at least shown Indu having a second thought about lying to Sanchi..its the fact that he didn't seem to be affected in the least about cheating her is what's gnawing me... when she came and hugged him/praised him, he didn't even frown/wince/gulp...

Why is Indu trying to play his cards safely. He was always shown as a straight forward and honest guy.
I dont mind if he tells sanchi that he will not leave his style or unethical way of earning a living . But constantly lying is not acceptable.

Thanks for the update!Ok I watched the episode..I loved the first part but I can't say the same for the last part...I was so disappointed by Indu.. I don't mind that he is taking time to change, this is not the problem as I want him to have to struggle with himself and to have dilemmas about what's wrong or right. This part is fine as it's realistic to show gradual change and not a change overnight. But what I do mind, is him lying to Sanchi! It goes against everything that we have been shown of this character! As Rashmi said, he's supposed to be honest so even if it means him telling Sanchi that he doesn't want to change, so be it! The Indu Singh we used to know, understands the value of a promise! And as lashy said, the Indu Singh we used to know considered Sanchi as holy and had so much respect for her, so how could he even be lying to her when he promised he would make her proud? And he knows this will only hurt her!

Grr I'm so annoyed I spent the last hour writing up my analysis, when my darn internet crashed, and pfft went my work! I really am too pissed, ill, and tried to write it all up again! I swear, the amount of times this has happened to me I feel as if I shouldn't even bother! I get so emotionally and physically drained, and wind up with an end result of nothing! Stupid computers...even the duffer Indu has more functioning cells then them!

Mind you after today's epi I feel like beating him around the head until he loses his remaining brain cells! What a doofus! Why the heck did he promise Sanchi to stop his business of vacating premises with force, only to go back on it less than 24 hrs later?!

I have no idea why CV's are butchering his character by turning him into such a conniving and bullying liar. Indu's USP has always been the fact that despite all his violent, cruel, and selfish antics, he has always maintained a brutal honesty about his actions. Yes he did wrong, but he was bold as brass about his actions. He wasn't a sneaky devious little liar!

But since the Rubina kand, he's been shown to do nothing but lie and run from the truth and consequences of his actions! Which has irriated me to no end, to say the least!

Like Rash I'd rather Indu just tell Sanchi that he isn't going to change, as he sees no wrong in what he does. As to be fair the impression I get is that for a UP mindset, by aiding in vacating premises, Indu is only helping people reclaim what is rightfully theirs. The law and police let them down, so Indu and his boys step in to help those people. But of course all this is done for a significant price. Plus I hate the fact that Indu is going around ordering the horrific abuse of people who have never even met him, so hence have never wronged him. Ugh how can he then order their arms and legs to be broken?!

I'd even accept this fact if Indu was acting in some sort of 'Godfather' role, and after hearing both ends of the story, enforced his decision and punishment on who he believed to be in the wrong.

Sigh I actually thought we would get some instances of this on the uni campus, and see Indu's vigilante nature clashing with Sanchi's law and order persona.

Also I'm vexed at Sanchi's role as president being reinforced. I hate the fact that she is the bloody president, as it affect's Indu's character growth so freaking much! With her in that role, Indu has nothing to aim for or even do on campus. So as things stand either CV's will show him gradually becoming Sanchi's enforcer/protector/lackey or he'll wind up leaving campus to pursue his career. And to be honest I won't be happy with neither scenario!

Plus Sanchi threatening Indu's boys today gave me a really bad feeling. I have a dark foreboding that she'll feel pressured to use her status as president to enforce the suspension or expulsion of her devers! Or worse stand side by side with the Dean as Indu is dismissed from campus due to his hooliganism. Ouch now that would be taking the phrase 'Tough Love' to a whole other level...
