What a prince charming!!!!

Now I know why women are in such a bad shape in our country. Because when some man does something like this we celebrate that he was able to marry the girl he loved, it does not matter what the girls want. You all are really something.

no one is supporting his bad qualities... we have all been shunning what he did yesterday.. i can challenge you to find one post that actually says what he did yesterday was 'celebration-worthy' ... his actions have been abused by all...

Every man has an angel and the devil in him... it depends on the human, as to whether the angel is dormant in him or the devil...the only reason we have a soft corner (if you can call it that) is because we have seen a 'good side' to him, when he was not as mental as this... 'WE WANT TO SEE SANCHI CHANGE HIM FOR THE GOOD'... what is the point of the story if sanchi had to get married to someone else... this is an entertainment tv show... we want to see something positive come out of it, but with an entertaining twist yaar...Sanchi has never told him what she wanted... if she said that she wanted him to mend his ways or waited for her to finish her education, I am sure he would have tried...

His main wrong points are the fact that he doesnt want to listen to 'no' and his temper... these are the qualities we would like to see sanchi change in him...

he is not as civilised as a metropolitan-city dweller...he was not polished in putting forth his feelings of love... he was led wrongly by the people around him and sanchi ended up hating him (the adult book, poster kand, public proposal etc) when he was put behind bars, the only thing he could see was that Sanchi retaliated his love by imprisoning and insulting him... and so he resorted to revenge... [Personally, if you ask me his actions against mehek on the day were far worse than what he did yesterday- i know many might not agree with me.. but thats what I felt...]

Lashy WELL SAID..
Indu singh was always shown in love with saachi and opted wrong approach to propose her and things were also not in his favour .
Mehak though unintentionally was polluting saachi's mind for indu singh.
Remember those episodes in which she kept on telling her that Indu singh is the one who is behind Poster Kand.
This is just the begining now we will see more of Indu singh's Negative side.
Hope Indu and saachi both fall in love without MUCH DAMAGE TO EACH OTHER.
I think now i will start calling them WARRIORS LOL.

gksk have a chill pill...

We are not supporting Indu singh's behaviour towards Saachi. We have seen positive side of Indu singh which saachi till date has not seen.

Regarding studying he is done with his studies and chosen to be in politics.

So, point of education doesn't arise.

As much as its an entertainment based show, the reactions on the forum to this fictional scenario are pretty real! Thats what is worrisome!

Agree that the actors playing Indu and Sanchi on the show are beautiful young people who look very good together. She is that good, sweet, girl-next-door types and he is that handsome star of the college - thats a generic formula in many western and eastern romantic movies but in movies, the makers don't have an opportunity to explore the character in such depth.

This is the typical opposites-attract scenerio but in such scenerio the attraction is two sided. In this story, Sanchi does not love him. If the writers make her fall in love with Indu at some point in the future it will have the burden of the fact that subconsciously he is her husband thought will be looming in her psyche.

The only saving grace of the wedding was that Indu did not rape her or throw acid on her or physically beat her... However, they have also shown Indu is a power-happy brat not a Prabal kind of an aweful person. He would not harm people as much as he will not hear a "No" from them. His mother also reflects a very grounded and honest type of a morality - ex. when she yells at her brother for stealing the Mathur House.

Honestly, I did not like the way the wedding took place. A reaction to a fictional situation - don't see any romance between the two possible any more. This type of a situation does not deserve any accolades where the powerful suppressed the weaker. She and her family's voice was taken away from her and her father was thoroughly humiliated by Indu and his goons! A very sad day in the story of this show indeed!

But tomorrow is another day ... Desi Soaps Zindabaad!

As much as I find Sanchi's character to be irritating (not from the past 2 episodes...I am talking about the earlier phase...what with her stupid, half-baked plans and her unnecessary gloating!), I am finding this new Indu Singh to be even more despicable and downright scary!
The entire wedding sequence (though brilliantly written, directed and enacted) is emotionally very disturbing and actually shows you the truth that happens in our country! Forced marriages are not fictional...they do happen and if for once, we forget about Indu and Sanchi being fictional characters and imagine the plight of a girl who has been forced to marry a man against her wishes, we can understand the situation!
Indu's character has been written well in comparison to Sanchi, hence, despite the atrocities he does, as a viewer we are still bound to view him with bias...hoping that he will change and become a more compassionate and understanding person.
But Sanchi's character is sketchy...she does not come acrosas a level-headed and self-respecting girl that she is supposed to be, rather as an arrogant, over-confident girl who stubbornly refuses to see the good side of the man who loves her!
Even as actors, Anirudh is much more effective in conveying his character and its peculiarties across the screen in comparison to Pooja, who is not that strong as a performer!
Hence, it is not really the viewers fault if they think that Indu still deserves a chance...it is the way the creatives have written him and the way the actor puts it across, that influences our minds!
PS: Pooja was excellent yesterday...her silence seemed to speak volumes rather than her shrill dialouge delivery...hence, a lot of viewers must have felt a strong empathy with her state in yesterday's episode!

Btw, a romance between the two of them, unless the creatives come up with something truly brilliant and unique, seems to be a most unlikely possibility...after what Indu has done to Sanchi!
Agreed, he has not done something as henious as rape, but what he has done is the emotional equivalent of physical abuse!
He has broken her spirit and eroded her self-respect to such an extent that it would take something colossal for Sanchi to not just forgive Indu but actually fall in love with him and accept him into her life!
