I am ready for all Chappals and Andes and Tamatars that you all Ruk Jaana Nahin Fans are going to throw at me.😉😉
I don't actually watch Ruk Jaana Nahin, just read daily updates. But I don't like the concept of a guy forcing a girl into marriage.🤢 I think marriage is a very pure relation which should be entered into only because of love and mutual understanding. Saanchi is a very intelligent girl and has big dreams about her career. I would have loved for this show to show how a girl can overcome all obstacles and do good in studies and have a great career and support her family. But no, they have to marry her off to a goon who she hates just so she can get her parents their house back.🤢
This has been turned into another love story where a brat college goon forces a girl to marry her just be he likes her even after knowing that she hates him. All the focus of the show will now be on her falling in love with him and overcoming all obstacles in Sasural. Is that all a girl can do?? 🤢🤢
I don't understand SP's 'Nayi Soch'!!! First in Pratigya, they showed the same story. Krishna forced Pratigya to marry him and now she also loves him. Now 'Ruk Jaana Nahin'. Navya from show 'Navya' is also shown as having left her job after wedding and overcoming obstacles in her Sasural. 😕😕😕 Why can't they show girls doing good in their career and then marrying for love with someone who is also successful.
What SP seems to be promoting from Pratigya and RJN is that if a guy like a girl he should force her to marry him. He can do anything for this - beat up good prospective grooms, spread false humors about girl's characters, blackmail girl and her family. It does not even matter if the girl is lot more educated than you and hates you because you are a goon. Just force her to marry you and then the girl will make sure that the marriage works out and will love you unconditionaly. Really!!???
If someone would try to force me to marry him, I would file complaint against him with Police. I would tell his mother that I don't want to marry him because he is beneath me. If his mother does not support me even then like Malti, I would slap her in front of him (Noone can marry a girl who slaps your own Mom in front of everyone). I would also tell them that if they are indeed successul in forcing me to get married, I will never forgive them and one day poison all family members. You don't actually have to do it, just scaring is enough. The guy will realise that marrying me forcibly is not actually a good idea.
Also, I did not like Saanchi's condition for marriage. Just getting Property Papers?? They already had them in the beginning of the show but still the house was not in their control, right? So, what good are Property papers even now. She could have laid two conditions:
1) Continuosly get more marks them me in every exam that I take from now on till I finish my studies.
2) Get my parents property back (not just parpers).
Fulfilling these conditions would have made sure that Indu can't marry her before her studies complete. He himself will have to study well and thus get a good career. So, marrying him would not be a bad idea then. All her parents would get the property back. Win-win-win situation for evryone.
This is something I would have liked to see. But no, they had to spoil everything.

Sweetie, in reality all of us would know that what you have written is true...none of us would support stuff like that.. but then, what you have written, unfortunately would be more on the lines of a docu-drama... it would not churn out high TRPs...most people like to sit in front of the TV to watch entertainment...something larger-than-life and that is how they seem to like it...

not just Pratigya, in IPKKND, arnav forced Khushi to marry her and constantly inflicts her with oodles of hurtful comments & mild forms of physical manhandling...yet that is one of the most popular jodis today... in DABH, Sandhya was forced into her wedding... she apparently wanted to become an IPS officer???? However, she meekly submits to punishments of carrying buckets of water and burning her hand for cookery contests...yet people want to see SURYA... Gopi Bahu has still not seen the light of day and its been 2-3 years now...Maan has been tough with Geet on more than a few occassions...

Everywhere, this is the scenario lol... and not just in India... 'bold man subtly subduing his woman', concept has always sold more than anything else... read romantic english novels be it mills and boon or the more classic ones - and thats what you'll find everywhere... it just makes for more passionate story-telling...im sure us girls would hate for our guys to treat us that way 😆

when having started watching the serial, I hated Indu too and did not like his demeanour (you can check past posts) but now that he is reforming slightly i was interested in seeing how it would all pan out... and believe me most of us here feel the same...
and trust me, NONE OF US WANT SANCHI to get involved into kitchen politics and saas-bahu stuff.. 🤢...we'd like for her to continue studying (i wish this was her sharth) and for Indu to reform and start working (again, i wish this was another sharth)

but good one...keep it up 😊

I agree with Lashy! You don't wanna watch reality on TV. Its only for entertainment which is larger than life and would not be tolerated in real life. I actually have been thinking about her studies as well. Hopefully, the CV's know what they are doing and everything will work out and be lovey dovey lol
PS:
Leave logic aside when watching a soap. saves a lot of headache :)

I LOVED UR OPINION ON THIS.
IF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO ME----
I would have done many bad things to the whole indu's family.
for ex---
1)Insulting them continuously in front of everyone.
2)If indu had manhandled me then I would have slapped him, punched him or else beat him up with my bro's bat.
3)If Indu had touched any of my family members then i would definitely have broken someone's nose in his family.

even if after all of this,he still choose to marry me then I would be left with no choice but to use a simple and famous formula----faking a suicide attempt so that he would know that i had rather die than to marry him.hehehhehehehe.this formula usually works...

I totally agree with you dear.. valid argument.. but I agree with lashy too.. people want entertainment and to get higher trp's, the CVs need msaala in their soaps.. but unfortunately, a girl falling for a boy who hates her is actually found "romantic" among viewers. Men have always had the upper hand in the society.. and this is what CVs are proving.. soaps should not always depict unreal things.. we should see some reality outside our world.. i find that in every show, there is always a case where cvs tell their viewers that this is a man-dominant society girl.. get used to it!! I like Indu but not the way he thinks of marrying Sanchi.. conditions? force? nah-ah!! never!!!!! In real world, people like Indu singh only learn when it happens to their own sisters.. Indu has some good characteristics but I still don't want Sanchi to get married to him.. She deserves better!!
