I don't want new singers or those who've been around for less than 20ish years.
I'm not demeaning them or saying they aren't good enough, just prefer more experienced singers to judge.

I think newer singers tend to either be very harsh or too casual.

Alka yagnik isbiased and loose mouth. I have heard her during 1st LIL champs and how she was talking abt a young girl who was bit chubby.

No Alka yagnik...She makes fun of skinny and chubby contestants... Wts need of commenting on others look??
My pick is :
Sunidhi/Shreya
Javed Ali /Salim Merchant (Javed seems sweet types he might give green to everyone 😆 while salim is opposite he is strict )

But pls as someone else also said no one hit wonders like this monali ...
They can also take Guru Randhawa in place of diljit 😳 both hv almost same knowledge of music, Randhawa is eye candy! not that I mind diljeet but just for sake of revamp and change

Shankar with hariharan and usha uthup. Makes it a good combo. When shankar is with hariharan he is a better person and singer

spb is equally bad and eccentric. Been watching him host a show in telugu for over 20yrs now

I like the idea of having Shankar with other experienced judges who'll not simply follow him, but have a mind of their own. Hariharan and Usha Uthup! Wow, can this please happen???

I haven't had too many positive experiences with any of today's singers or music directors as judges. They all seem either too laid-back or too harsh or biased. Fairness is the single-most important criterion for a judge. But then, I guess the judges have little say in what they do, they have to follow the diktats of the channel .

RIght on!! SHe is also at times insecure with young girls singing better than her 😉😳

What I love about JA he gives pointers and shows how one can improve or if a singer does something really well he will point that out and let the contestant sing that line again. He has been the best I have seen with kids. Plus he is a fantastic singer ⭐️👏 I like Salim too 😃
