Vishal denies getting Shalini replaced!

A source from the production house said, "Shalini was thrown out because of her tantrums and everyone is shocked to hear reports that Vishal was responsible for her exit."

When contacted Vishal said, "I have read a story which suggested that I persuaded the channel to replace Shalini. That is absolutely untrue. I am not sure if I should speak about this issue at this moment. Anything I say will look like I am defending myself. Perhaps it would be better if my producer speaks on my behalf."

Producer of the show Pearl Grey supported Vishal and explained, "Shalini had been unable to deliver what her character required and was behaving in an unprofessional manner. She had some personal problems due to which her work was being affected. The creative team kept urging her to professional but that didn't happen. Contrary to the reports, the channel didn't decide to replace her, but the production team did. They went to the channel heads asking them to opt for either options. One that we change the plot of the show and the focus shifts from the main lead to other characters. Second option was to replace Shalini. The channel didn't want to change the story or subject of the show so decided to replace the lead actress."

Now what remains to be seen is whether the audience accepts Shalini's replacement Parul Chauhan as the new Surabhi in Rishton Se Badi Pratha.
