I want answers too.
In the beginning the characterization of Satrupa was strong, fierce and a protector of her family. She killed to protect. Most of us understood that and it was justified.

Anami was strong, bravely fighting fake sanyasis. She had self confidence.

Now the version of strong has become for Anami brash and bratty and bitchy for Satrupa. No strong women are not brash, bratty or bitchy. Those are just annoying traits.

A strong woman can also be kind, empathetic yet have shades of grey. She can even kill to protect. A strong woman has confidence yet listens to advice. She is not a know-it-all. She is silent when needed not stupid like Anami to show herself by telling her name when she is being searched. A strong woman is not a one note.

Congrats CVS for butchering two of my most favorite characters ever. I find them annoying and abhorrent now when I enjoyed watching them.

I don't think so. Satrupa tells Anami once they rescued Narottam from somewhere. Might be there.

Not for me. When she has no gratitude for Panditayen raising her daughter whom she threw away and rolls her eyes when Anami mourned her, she is worse than bitchy. The whole of last week I danced around the word bitchy for Satrupa, yesterday she was a cruel, cold hearted, obsessive, maniac of a sociopath with no empathy. They killed the Satrupa I once liked yesterday as far as I am concerned and hence I am gone.

It starts with the script for me. Even the best, most hard working actor or actress cannot work marvels with a shitty script. For me anyway, the best actors are those that disappear into the part. The part is always bigger than the individual actor.

NS is excellent but Satrupa has become intolerable for me. I cannot watch a character I do not connect to even if I like the actress.

Something fishy about LM wasis. They are not clean. They still treat Narottam with contempt.

What is his mistake? Poor guy.

With all her faults, Satrupa is like a open book. She is in a hurry and that makes us take shortcuts. Those kind of people always have moral bankruptcy. Especially torturing the girl who was protecting her daughter which is one more ungrateful stance. Satrupa is making herself more unlikeable every passing day.

While the self righteousness of anami is annoying. The all knowing smirk. Her foster mother noticed it.
Anami cutting the hair of that innocent lady is akin to what Satrupa has done to Poonam though less painful but more insulting. Poonam is culprit at some level but not this lady who is appointed to do some makeover. Both mother and daughter can be ruthless. Daughter even enjoying mother's discomfort having the other woman in the same house.
