My point is that as a CBI officer he should have been ready for the repercussions as well. My feeling is Satrupa is going to charge him with kidnapping and given Anami is a minor it could hold up. At the same time, given she's only a few months from turning 18 (at least that's what I'm assuming), her testimony makes all the difference.
Somewhere though I think even Adhiraj expected this. Why else would he go in disguise with Anami instead of openly telling people that he's a CBI officer? And in the precap he doesn't seem to fight it. He sees the warrant and gets handcuffed, no arguments raised. He probably knew that LM wouldn't leave him, but he put friendship ahead of duty.
