The language. We consider every language Maa. But you cannot exactly copy the feelings of what Maa is when you speak a different language. Every language has a way of feeling. Every language has a way of seeing. And you need to understand that way. For that you need to get the help of a Maa who knows to express the feeling in that language.

One of the most important aspects of today's episode was Maa. Mother. What Anami needs to understand is, the feeling of mother can be understood only by another mother. A friend cannot replace that. As Adhiraj was unable to do. He couldnt write the words she told. Because he couldnt translate the beauty of that words into English. Just like Satrupa helped her to write the essay she needs to know the language of banaras does not work in LM and to know the language of LM she has to take the hand of Satrupa. Taking the hand of Satrupa doesnt mean leaving the hand of Pandithayan. Both can co exist. Just like we can speak multiple languages. I write in English, watch Hindi shows doesnt mean I love Malayalam or Konkani less. Konkani connects me with family and Malayalam with my best friends. But hindi shows and my ability to write in English has given me readers across the country and even some outside. Just like this circle cannot replace family and friends, but at the same time you need this circle to broaden your vision, your perspective, your knowledge, Anami needs Satrupa to make her see a different world, to help her spread the wings.

Satrupa also need to understand that taking her help doesnt mean she can take Pagli Pandhityan place. English is not superior to Hindi. Anami wont leave Pagli Pandhitayan hand because she take Satrupa's. The mirror scene was really good. Anami and Satrupa stands side by side. Anami doesnt say anything. Accept Satrupa's tutoring. But as Satrupa goes or turns she uses that language to describe her Pagli Pandithayan. Anami was facing the mirror and Satrupa turned aways from it. The reflection Anami sees for mother is Pagli Pandhitayan. Satrupa is someone important and yes she will get that special place but Anami wont leave the hand of Pagli Pandhitayan. Once she understands the language of LM what she will spread will be the teachings of her foster mother. That of love, not that of war. Satrupa is needed to help her express that teaching in the most appropriate way for LM.

Coming to Adhiraj. Do you know what I love the most about this guy. He is simple. He doesnt have an aura about him. He doesnt know to express feelings and if he expresses then it is the most boring way or in angry mood. He is very much the man next door whom you know deeply care about people, but dont show it. Definitely someone is playing in between or Sudha herself ensured no letter goes to LM. She has openly challenged Satrupa she wants her son and of course her place , that is Baldev's love. Satrupa also has openly challenged her that she will undo her with Anami. In a way good as Sudha will only look at Anami and her equation with LM wasis. She is not going to look at that invisible equation of Adhiraj and Anami. Sudha is a Pandit's daughter who claims she doesnt want the RS or the luxury of LS. Anami also has been bought up by Pandit and she genuienly has no interest in RS or LM. A woman who wants the right uses the incorrect method for the same, and a girl who has no real intention to be the heir is forced to take up the place. What a path crossing.

Mother. The one who carries us safe inside her, whose very blood and bones is used to knit us. We are parasites in many ways when we are inside our mothers because we sap her nutrients, make her weak, cause her to swell, give her constant pain and when we finally get ready to face the world, we literally rip her into two and make our entrance. Yet she cries to see us, happy tears.

Hers is the hands that give us life sustaining food, whose arms keep us safe. Hers are the hands that comfort us when we are sick or hug us when we are afraid. Hers are the hands that are joined in prayer for us, that put them on our heads to bless us, that comforts us as we lay on her lap. Sometimes those hands are used to slap us to correct us. It is the hand we hold when we are afraid as children. We hold those hands to learn to walk.

Usually one woman does all this. But in this case there are two. Who is worthy of being called 'mother' here ? The one that gave birth kismet se takrakar and had to give up her child ? Is it the mother whose womb was empty but accepted another woman's cast off child as a blessing and was there every day. Who raised her with love, values and worth. Who did not discriminate when she had a child she gave birth to.

Madoo Pathak will always be mother to Anami. It is her fingerprints and parvarish that are written in Anami's soul. She has also inherited traits in her DNA from Satrupa. The tevar for instance. Satrupa's guilt on her abandonment of Anami refuses to let her see that she owes a debt of gratitude to Madoo Pathak. If she was grateful she will never threaten to harm them or try to put them in jail for any reason. The day she acknowledges Madhoo's role in Anamis life she will gain Anami's love or some positive feeling. 'Maa' will always be Madhoo to Anami even if she becomes a big Angrezi speaking business woman like Satrupa. The humble upbringing on the ghats of Benaras by a very little educated and non English speaking woman is what will give Anami her core and who we are is made up of that.

I loved Adhiraj today! He's gone from just being a CBI officer to being a close friend. Who else would drop everything and come to help write an essay, sit there and sketch, and then finally give up and leave? I agree with you. He doesn't know how to express his emotions, but somewhere that has to do with his upbringing as well. He grew up in the flash of a few seconds when Dheeru got arrested. He saw Lal Mahal at its worst. He knows what happens when you show your emotions and so he's compartmentalized them so much that now he doesn't know how to react.

My favourite scene from today was the last scene between Satrupa and Anami. The mirror where they stood together, side-by-side, showing that they are the same, they are together, they are close, they are mother and daughter. But very quickly that turned out to be just Satrupa's brahm. The essay she thought was about her was not. She is still far away from Anami. The same, but yet not the same. And that was reflective in how Satrupa turned once she reached the door and heard Anami call Pagli Pandityan her mother. Up until then it was the motherly affection showing, but quickly it become a heartbreak when she realized that Anami still doesn't consider Satrupa her mother. What was beautiful about this scene was that Satrupa offered to help, but didn't make it an order or a threat. It was a simple offer with a silent acceptance from Anami.
