Nothing filmy or OTT...and these two actors Mahima and the boy..young as they are...simply brilliant.šŸ‘šŸ‘

Such subtle emoting, that poetry, the way she pens her thoughts and he right beside her gazing at his soul sister. A big WOW!

I also loved loved the convo between Pandit and Anami. How he advises her that Love transcends all. Such a wise man Pandit is. Love his character.

Thanks for the translation.

Thanks, DD! šŸ¤— Both actors were brilliant ... they carried the entire episode ... such an important turning point for the show. Loved the poetry ... and loved that scene of brother and sister gazing at each other šŸ‘ 😳

Pandit is Anami's guiding light ... he is such a wise man. Anami is lucky she was brought up in the Pandit family.

The sense of lose I am feeling when I realise that these two amazing human being who are supposed to be each others shadow, will never be sharing a moment more together ... what they missed out on!!! :(

Thank you! 😳
That was the beauty of the episode, and the way the makers brought Anami to this place ... that the audience can feel the bond between brother and sister, and feel the sense of loss that this pair will never really know each other ... that is so utterly sad!!! 😭

Beautiful post Diya. I was amazed by the episode. The way it was taken. Superb. No words to explain.

Subtle yet powerful

Thanks for writing down the poems. Feel like reading it again and again. Kudos to the CVs for writing these gems. WHo exactly in their team writes these ? Would really like to know. The words are so apt for anybody. Not just Anami and Vatsalya.

Thanks, JJ!

I think the writer is Neeraj Shukla who has penned some BW movies. Beautiful writing ... brought out the pathos and the pain of the scene brilliantly.

This episode is one to watch again and again ... simply beautiful.

I was going to make my own topic on the episode, but seeing your post decided to add my review here as well.

Before I comment on the episode, I want to again say kudos to the CVs. Satrupa was shown asleep in a regular nightgown, messed up hair, and no or minimal makeup. Exactly how real people sleep. I love how the CVs are taking care of even such minute details to ensure the show stays as real as possible. Not only that they gave Anami a basic phone, not a smartphone to match her character and her family. They aren't rich, but they aren't poor. Anami doesn't need a smartphone, she's fine with a regular phone.

The one mistake I felt the episode had was how Poonam saw a key and just recognized it to be the one to Vatsalya's room. I get it was the catalyst to Anami finding out who Vatsalya is, but the key was just like a few of the others and only Daamo and Satrupa actually knew about the key and lock since only those 2 were ever allowed to go in there.

However, moving past that I like how it was just woven into Anami's escape. The rakshasutra bracelet was put on at the right time and was so significant. It broke at the same time as Vatsalya's death. Then it was forgotten, just like Anami forgot Vatsalya and why she was in LM. Now that she's escaping, it's finally time to remember Vatsalya and learn that secret that was hidden from her.

I liked how they showed Anami just running back to find out who Vatsalya is. It matches her character of someone who is quick to make decisions. She needs to know who Vatsalya is and if it stops her escape, then she can just runaway another day. But at least she'll know who was the reason behind her being brought to LM.

The realization and the breakdown. As Anami recalls her moments with Vatsalya, she goes back only to those when they felt most familiar. It's a realization that the familiarness came from them being real siblings. And it's a breakdown because she'll never know those moments again, because she'll never experience those moments in LM, because she'll never have that one person with her who had the deepest connection with her, who understood her even in a 5 minute meeting. It's often said that siblings have a deep connection, but twins have a reflex connection. Our Indian TV may have used that for OTT purposes, but here it's real. At a deep, soul level the two had connected and now Anami realizes that it was because they were siblings, twins, soul-linked, and she's lost all that without even knowing about it.

Then Anami reaches out to the only way she can connect with Vatsalya and know him: his poetry. Just like Baldev, it touches her, tears her up, but also brings her closer to her dead brother. These tears are not only tears of loss, but tears of familiarness. The tears of joy when you see someone you thought you had lost, when you get to know someone, and when you come closer to someone. Not only that the poetry is written for Anami. A question, an answer, an emotion, a relationship. The poetry serves a purpose for everything. What I found most significant about this scene was that Anami only started seeing Vatsalya once she started reading the poetry. It signified that the poetry was the real catalyst for bringing them closer, for making them understand each other, and for making them connect on a soul level.

That journal is now the means of communication for the two. As Anami writes her thoughts in it, her fears, her sadness, her questions, her concerns, Vatsalya watches her as if watching over her, supporting her, seeing her, reading her, understanding her. And as soon as she's finished, Vatsalya leaves, but not leaving her, just disappearing. And even as Anami leaves, Vatsalya is still there, reading her entry, understanding her, and supporting her.

The background music throughout was a welcome accompaniment. Often times the music overpowers the scene or is a mismatch, but here it was perfect to make you really feel what Anami was feeling.

I loved the scene of Anami leaving LM, but phoning Shraddh Pandit because she's not sure what to do. And he understands and guides her, but doesn't tell her what to do. Because at this juncture it's key that Anami makes the final decision. Either she goes back to the chakravyuh and the lal rang of the LM or she returns to her old life and tries to put everything behind her and forget that she knew anything about Vatsalya.

šŸ‘šŸ‘ Fabulous post!!!

Especially loved the lines in red.

In blue - that was shown so beautifully ... the words were written for Anami ... she could know and understand her twin through his words ... and she had the same diary to pour in her thoughts, her feelings for Vatsalya to read and understand her. Even through the great divider of death, they are communicating ... a true soul connection ... beautiful!!!

Background music ... agree, it was beautifully matched to the scene ... echoed Anami's feelings and amplified them for the audience.

Beautiful post, Athene!!!

Not sure which team is working on this show , but every aspect is well taken care , acting , execution , dialogues
Poetry and one completing the other puzzle was beautiful ..now she understands she's in his world ... purpose still Unknown but atleast questions are known ... the show progressed .. the character progressed and with so much subtlety that I am amazed In a good way :-)
Usually Hindi shows I am amazing but it's more of not so good way

Thanks, ttt 😃

The Ph is a new one and this is their first show. They have made it with a lot of love and attention to details ... it shows! The story and character progression is impeccable so far ... hope it continues the same way ... in six weeks, there have been very, very few hiccups, and almost no illogical scenes of tracks ... even the DNA track, though slightly farfetched, was wrapped up neatly and smoothly.

Very rarely does Indian tv give a show which can touch the audiences heart and soul. RKC is one of the few and today's episode was one of it's best. A sequence that in any other show would have been a melodramatic tear jerker, here gave way to moist eyes and a deep longing that the twins could know each other. Their loss became our loss.Kudos to the dialogue writer, every time Vatsalya said 'tum kahan the my heart broke along with Anami's, especially the line about their tie of blood disintegrating and where was...gave me goosebumps.

The screen shot you gave of Anami writing with her head on the desk and Vatsalya looking at her with his head also resting on the desk spoke volumes. The twins have a bond beyond how long they knew each other in this life.

red ... me too 😭 The sheer pathos and deep sense of loss that emanated from those words ... two incomplete souls searching for each other ... normally that is said about lovers, but here it was about twin souls missing their other halves.

I loved that shot ... brother and sister across the divider of life itself ...
Thanks for posting, kairavi 😊

Kudos to the entire crew of RKC for everything they come up with.
The line - aaj hamara parichay hua has really touched my heart. The twin souls who were connected even before they were born were introduced to each other from different worlds.. What a mind blowing poetry! And Anami completes Vatsalya's thoughts.. Which means she completes the unfinished work of vatsalya ! So symbolic

Thank you! That line - aaj hamara parichay hua hai ... was so meaningful. She has known she had a twin who died ... but till now, she never knew him ... today she does.

Red - yes! She is fated to step into his place.
