As Adhiraj untiringly says, 'Lal mahal men jo hota hai wo Dikta nahi, aur jo dikhta hai wo hota nahi', is apt for Narottam. While the other characters are multilayered and we can say mostly are grey, it can't be said confidently about him. Not much has been revealed about him. The way his stance changes, once he is out of LM, says that there is much more than meets the eye.

I think it would be a shocker, when his secret will be revealed. He is definitely not white. But is he grey or completely dark, time will reveal.

Anami can see through Adhiraj, because he has 2 faces, one is the mask he wears for the world to see, and other what he really is. But he couldn't deceive Anami, because not only she is intelligent, but she is sensitive too.

Whereas Narottam is shrewd. He keeps the mask and the real face both hidden. No one has any idea what he is planning or where he goes.He could be unrecognisable if seen outside the LM. He keeps himself away from the conflicts and never disagrees with any one in the LM. So while we know Pujan is negative, Adhiraj has an agenda, we are totally ignorant about what Narottam has up his sleeves. That's what makes this character potentially most threatening.

But at the same time, Anami can't always see the truth of everyone. But then again it was only one meeting and Narottam appeared so calm and loveable just like he did to us viewers when we first saw him.

Like MIMOSA said above, Narottam is shrewd. He's grown up in an environment where he's learnt how to make his move at the right time. He's learnt to show his good face to certain people and his shrewd face only to himself.

Adhiraj, on the other hand, has only seen Lal Mahal from the outside. He has a lot to learn and a lot to understand about the way people act in the LM. And until then he'll continue to be easily read by smart people like Anami.

Now guys coming to Narotham vs Adhiraj. Adhiraj is not white, he has motive but if 3 women, Madhoo, Satrupa and Anami are able to decode him, then that man can either be black or white. By white I dont mean blemishless, but a man who committs mistakes not crimes. Woman by nature feel, if smart they use the feelings rightly for the right purpose, and give straight answer to their questions. Madhoo felt Adhiraj is trustworthy, Satrupa understood his suspicion and his nature of integrity used it, Anami answered him straight to all his questions. And it is the straight answer that made Adhiraj also trust Anami as he decoded her to his superior telling Satrupa has pressed on some weakness of that girl. Plus you can say my own feeling about the character. He is not negative. Yes he can put someone in trouble because of his over confidence, his unintentional mistake, but if is really with you, you can expect him to stand in front of you to defend you. He dont play on your emotions, trying to manipulate it.

Narotham is shrewd. He is playing on emotions. You can say maybe my experience reading so many thrillers and watching so many thriller movies along with Crime Patrol in Sony. Somewhere all my 5 senses become active telling beware. Yes what happened to Narotham is not his fault and he has every right to play the game also. But the only problem is to take revenge or whatever his motive using an innocent girl who has done nothing to him. Or infact may stand by him also.

Now Adhiraj tells in Lal Mahal saga a third player is there. Apart from Satrupa and Pujan. Of course it is going to be Narotham and Anami at this point is going to be in his team. Unintentionally. And this team might end up toppling a lot of other plans.

I think so too. He gave Adhiraj a false impression because she knows a DNA test done in all honesty will only legitimize Anami's claim as the heiress of Royal Steel. Also, Adhiraj seems almost too confident on Anami being innocent and he wants her out of Lal Mehal. The reasoning felt poor to me. His personal feelings and emotions are clouding his judgement. What will he do when Anami turns out to be the Princess. I see lots of conflict for Adhiraj going forward. Also, was his junior officer slightly jealous seeing how Adhiraj can't be indifferent to Anami?
