The princess in Dekha Ek Khwaab is kidnapped by a man named Murali when she was two years old and called Muniya. She is brought to the palace after a sixteen year long search. A similar story to Rishton Ka Chakravyuh. Only RKS is much more well thought out, planned, is on a bigger scale, dramatic and has strong accents. But what DEK had that RKS doesn't have is a strong male lead. The start of DEK was marked by a scene wherein the police station a man enters (prince, male lead) and from my memory... He hands her a trigger, aims it at his forehead. Placing it there, he asks her to pull the trigger and if unable so come back home with him. That marked the beginning of a Fandom that was doomed by annoying producers and their writer who were hell bent on showing a chawl boy and princess love story instead of what the audience wanted.
How is RKC going? I notice so many similarities every passing day. If DEK is to be followed as a blueprint then Nirrotam will be someone who wants Anami's to fail until her starts to like her as a person and befriends her and helps her along the way.

Also, why do I feel that Vatsalya is not dead? I feel it's more like Satrupa is killing two birds with one stone... Keeping her son alive and in hiding and secondly, bringing her daughter back home. It does make sense, Vatsalya wants a break and little bit of freedom from these responsibilities and the continuous attacks on him with days will worry any mother. And then, Anami.

Yes, DEK started as a hatke n promising Indian tv show but degraded over time in its content as well as execution...
There are bound to be a few similarities because of the rich, powerful n contemporary royal family backdrop.
But DEK wasnt a complicated story.
In comparison, RKC has a story which is too layered, complicated n difficult to predict as of now.

I hope Vatsalya isnt dead...the character is well written n innocent among so many diabolics n the actor was good too.
Hopefully, we get to watch Vatsalya-Anami bonding too!!

Also what was the necessity of Tej Khan's apparent death?! It would have been so good to watch the clashes between Anami n Tej when Tej would have shadowed Anami to protect her while Anami would have devised ways to escape from his protection...
