The Ever Tightening Chakravyuh

Every new entry on this show is in one way or another connected to Lal Mahal and it's illustrious inhabitants and by default to Anami. The Chakravyuh is slowly forming or maybe getting bigger because some of it has been existing since long.In the myth Abhimanyu (if my knowledge is correct , feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Apologies in advance) was surrounded by soldiers who had no relation to him,but in here Anami is surrounded by people who are tied by blood and in further run of the show maybe tied by other relationships. She is going to be thrown into center of absolute mayhem with some of her relations baying for her blood.

I had hoped that Narottam would be positive but I do understand where he is coming from. Even though I felt bad for Satrupa when she reminisced about her time with her young son, I felt a twinge for Narottam and resentment towards Satrupa for her callous bordering on cruel treatment of her stepson. No one deserves to loose their kid but Satrupa needs a wake up call where Narotham is concerned. Satrupa has made an enemy out of Narotham. Not only her, the whole of Lal Mahal. By the way he spoke today he seems to be the type to be easily swayed. Imagine what Avdood's dad - dunno his name - could do if he ever got wind of Narotham's thoughts.

Vatsalya's bodyguard , the one he called Sherlock Holmes, seems to have died with him. I had him pegged for the hero opposite Anami. It would have twisted Sateupa's guts to see her daughter fall for a bodyguard. My guess now is the police officer - again dunno his name ( I am kind of forwarding through my the show on Hotstar, so yeah I miss a few things)

Acting wise , Mahima and Narayani are good. Anju Mahendru (grand mother) does not seem to have much dialogues. The actress who plays the lady in red is also good and off course the moochwala villain
( 😆 I need to learn names). The police officer did not impress me. I will miss Vatsalya, that was portrayed nicely.

Do share your thoughts.

Nice post! Yes I also thought Tej was going to be opposite Anami for the reasons you cited. 😆
I haven't made up my mind about Narottam yet. I think his response to Anami will perhaps throw more light on to his character. I think everyone, not just Satrupa, treats Narottam really terribly and dismisses him as being ineffectual. Which dramatically speaking is reason enough for him to be the wildcard key player - but in what manner is the question.

Pujan Singh (Avdood's dad) is playing his machiavellian part to chilling effect.

The lady in red is Sudha, possibly a courtesan and Narottam's mother. She is being played by Sangeeta Ghosh. I'm intrigued to see her part in the game.

The heroine, Anami's character is shown so good, I love her character much she might get hard along with starangers but she is damn sensitive and emphatic person and i usually saw also sensitive people who seems to be tough because they don't want to give anyone chance to cross the limit and let them to be hurt.
When i saw Mahima in AKH, I was like no, she deserves better and she got this, i must salute the writers and every one in production house because of all of them it's a highly fascinating show.

Narottam should be positive and i think he will but as you said he is easily can be swayed i felt that too but his resentment is quite justified. The one who is insulted every time, who has been treated the worst and you expect from him to behave completely Mahan to them is quite absurd. Narottam belonged to such atmosphere where he having grey shades and he having the urge for taking revenge is quite justified. But i don't get the fact that why Satrupa hates him too? Is he really the child who shouldn't get the love and respect! Well he is himself a mystery.

And about Tez and Anami, yea both will be too good to paired, and then the story will be enthusiastic to see that how will Satrupa react but yea everyone will react the same for current male lead if they got to know that their daughter fall for one who is behind them.
But yea his acting is not so much improved, he has less charm then every cast there have.

Pujan the moustache one damn his "moochain" and "kajol" literally gives creepy vibes, he is playing very awesomely! And if I talk about costumes and jewellery so i must say it's decent and perfect!

Well yea we all will miss Vatsalya, he was damn adorable cutie pie!

Oh I loved how u gave a meaning to this title. I didn't understand it or maybe didn't give it much thought, but the Mahabharata's. Abhimanyu's Chakravyuh makes total sense! The Chakravyuh is slowly enlarging itself with new characters entering with old vengeance against the Lal Mahal. It is similar to Abhimanyu getting in between the fights that took roots before he was even born with no fault of his. Anami is stuck now around her "relatives'" satta war.
Jeez the story they came up with up!! Nobody is seedha saadha nice person. I love how everyone's have some kind of anger within themselves. Sp far nobody is looking too nice and sacrifice kind (Maybe the pandit who took Anami in, a little) but otherwise everyone look cunning in someway or the other. I like it 😆
I totally agree with u on Narottam's POV. It totally makes sense. Everyone's behavior towards him is cold. God it makes them look cold! They have all been a kid once upon a time! They should understand how a person would feel if they have nobody to treat him/her like a family. It's really sad.
Oh God! Tej Khan? Was that his name the bodyguard?! That guy was super awesome! 👏 I wasn't much happy when he ended up in that car accident with Vatsalya
Lol on moonchwala villain 😆😆

Tej , so that's his name. Thankyou for mentioning the same. Satrupa is not just bringing home her daughter. She is bringing home the sole heiress to a massive fortune. Right now I think that part -the heiress- part of Anami is more important to Satrupa than the fact that Anami is her flesh and blood. It will always be important to her though in time she will come to love Anami. Imagine her consternation when Anami defies every set standards of the royal life. Falling in love with a bodyguard would have pretty much send Satrupa over the edge. Alas that track is lost now. Thanks for the like and comment

Yep the same old beaten to death love story. I have no interest to see that but then again talking in terms of the Chakravyuh it is interesting. Right now everyone surrounding Anami including the CBI officer is her enemy. A part of the Chakravyuh waiting to overwhelm her and bury her. What if one part of it falls for her. That would tip the scales a bit at least. Thank you for the comment

People who feel a lot are sometimes the strongest among us. Their feelings - be it love or hatred- are often in the extremes. Imagine being at the receiving end of Anami's loathing. She will probably destroy the person. That's the kind of person she is now. Maybe that nature of her might change Narottam. Thank you for the comment.

The mythological Chakravyuh is what first came to mind upon seeing the title. I had like Mahima in her previous show so thought to give it a try. You are right Abhimanyu was thrust into a war that had nothing to do with him. Here Anami is surrounded by danger that became hers by birth. Kind of like GoT ( do not kill me I know that there is a mammoth of difference between the two) , every one is tainted. Apart from Anami's parents and her brother everyone is after one thing or another. Anami herself has anger issues. All in all we might have a good show to watch out for if the regular screw up crew do not show up in the long run. Thank you for the comment

Beautiful write up.
just a little correction. Abhimanya was surrounded and killed in the chakravyuh by his own relatives. Uncles and other relatives who shared the same blood and bloodline as the kid.
so in a way Vatsalya was Abhimanyu. Anaami though inspired from Karna of Mahabharat.. she will Arjun for this chakravyuh for he was the only one who could break a Chakravyuh. So will Anaami.
