makers clarified there was no child marraige in RLHN. there WAS a child marriage in PPK and no one denied it. no one could deny it. period. PH and channel made a joint announcement that they together pulled the show off because the audience didnt like the story. please see the video of the press conference held by PH. they have stated that very clearly.

as i said, you might have found it boring, but that is your individual opinion. others here do not share that view. if you didnt like RLHN you had the choice to stop watching it. why try SO hard to convince us about rohit when we dont share your views nor do we agree to them.

it

how can tehy alter teh show ..tell me u r POV ..just say teh concept how can tehy alter

only way tehy can alter and preevnt backlash is is showing ratan as grown up tahts what tehy did

why RLHN did not inteert viwers is as is said first 50 epsids trp was good

after taht NO VILLIAN absolutey for 50 episosdes and dragging friendshipmose

both the points killed the show

bcos DIRA have good chemistry inspite of CV crappy script trp was 0.5 till IPL started ..

and 0.5 trp si not bad in sony considering tehir best fictional show gets 0.8 trp

i am talking abt PPK here because no matter what anyone says both shows belong to one storyline...a.rey the characters r same the show began from where it left from PPK media also reported heavily so the comparisons are inevitable. PPK would have been running stronger becuase its concept was different..RHLN had nothing new plus there was no great chemistry between the leads..the ratings say that all..

we know he is teh ebst bcos he performed superbly as a 21 yr old guy .. U cant even find ONE SUPPORTER FR U R ARGUMENT AGAINST ROHIT in this 60 pLus members forum ..that itself says how flawed u r argument is

and tell me now in teh current men who r acting on tv who best suits as ratan mann singh and who looks just like 21 yr old .. ..just tell one name ..i can dissect THE GUY WHO U NAME acting then

honestly its wrong to blame the cv's and channel. they do not make shows to entertain a set of fans but mean serious business..these days any tv show costs a huge chunk of crores and recovery is not that great unless trp's are not great..they r forced to axe shows if they do not work well in the first weeks itself.

and its not with RHLN but other shows as well now YEH un dinon ki baat hai going the same way where the supporting actors are not happy n quitting. the show is not doing grt either 0.5 trps max but its giving them huge buzz so they r keeping it online..but for how long...

also in a post someone said viewers are at fault..well viewers cant be at fault...suchant's character didn't cut in and could not connect with audience..that's why it could not work longer..this is how things work now in telly...a good show is bound to survive or else bite the dust

trps come from:
1) good penetration of a channel - which sony doesnt have at the get do. the reason why trp of all of its show is low.
2) promotions of major tracks. since you know about the costs you should also know that there is a reason why maha episodes and sangams happen. the cost even more than normal show shooting but they give bigger trps. when there is no buzz around major tracks, audience is always going to be drawn to the ones that have that buzz
3) trp comes from loyal audience. - unfortunately for RLHN it was in a slot with big competition from shows that already had loyal viewership. and this viewers watched their show on TV and this show on yodesi and other sites - which meant no benefit from TRP even online because they didnt watch in on sony liv even though they did like the show.

these are reasons outside the control of PH and actors that impact trp. of course trps are also dependent on story line, strong buildup of tracks, stronger climax of the tracks which is in the hands of the creatives.

finally come the actors, whose contribution is in bringing some of their fans as audience. and increase that audience. and unless you are in the league of top 10 TV actors the likes of drasti, vivian, barun, etc the fan population that you bring is really not enough to keep the show alive no matter which other actor you are taking about. in fact even these actors are finding it difficult to keep the show alive as they could previously. none of the actors in RLHN including tejaswi who is a good actress fall in this top 10 region. so blaming them for it is a bit childish and vindictive.

one more thing that has gone against the show...
diya is shown as a heroine, she is a sword fighter, gun wielding protecting who does a man's job...what is left for Ratan...audiences do not appreciate man child characters..and ratan was definitely not manly to be suitable to Dia's persona...this is the general mindset of indian audiences.

Tejaswi's previous show 2612 had her playing the same sort of character but that character goes from a transition of a bubbly girl to a hardened anti-terrorism officer but her love interest was manly and they made a good pair..the show was also very appreciated..

they also had suchanti very irritating..when the protector is doing all the basic manly things..what was left for him anyway

abhay is not a proper villian ..CV made a blundre

by he time tehy introduced villian trp becam low

if tehy ahd not erevaled KM daughetre as villaina nd maintained tahts uspens efactor then show would have got good trp

Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya is an Indian mystery drama series on SET India, starring Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar and Rohit Suchanti.[1] It premiered on 7 November 2017.[2][3]

The series is a restructuring of Pehredaar Piya Ki, [4] which received negative social media response for depicting its two central characters, Diya, an 18-year-old princess and Ratan, a 9-year-old prince, as married.[5][6] The Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCC) asked SET India to move the series to a later 10pm time slot and the network complied. After a drop in viewership resulting from the move,[7] series producers opted to restructure the series for prime time, in part by removing the child marriage theme by advancing Ratan's age to adulthood and recasting the character.[8]

if your source of info is "wikipedia" i have little to say about the veracity if your information considering anyone can go and edit it all they like.

i dont agree with this...shows make the actors..actors dont make shows...who was drashti before GEET did anyone know her from Dil mill gaye...the show was major flop on trp's but it excelled online n created huge buzz..same goes for barun whose debut show on sony was damp squib he saw success in PKND rajeev khandelwal saw success in KAHIN TOH HOGA...no 1 knew him when he did kya haadsaa kya haqeeqat...

the story of the show should connect and actors instantly becomes stars...RLHN could not create huge buzz online or otherwise and was a flop on ratings...well no matter how u argue some blame always comes for the stars because if they take the credit of success, it goes the other way round as well...

anyways Tejaswi is still popular and her career won't be affected..its suchanti who has to take care of himself

petitions never stopped. in fact they gained more momentum in that they went to all politicians and broadcasting ministry as a complaint. the huge amount of public uproar over it was what made it impossible for smrti irani to not react strictly on the show.

if the concept is misunderstood on such a mass scale that means that the makers could not convey their message properly and hence it was the right move to shut a show that couldnt even convey its basic premise to general public and correct the mistakes they made in PPK. the point being PPK was the first show in the history of ITV that received such back lash and hatred from general public. and that means it flopped big time.

and RLHN - which is not its sequel - did much better in reaching the hearts of the general public so much so that the people who openly hated PPK even watched RLHN and stated that on sns
