They have to show ratan's realization ASAP instead of fake ratan and Meethi track otherwise TRP will be dropped more.

Recently a big star's film got very awkward TRPs on the small screen though that will not be the case for real considering the star's image. At the same time, another hopeless film got better TRPs. Stunned by the happening, the bigwigs of the entertainment channel immediately launched an internal inquiry into this.

They found that films that are acquired by one particular group are getting superior TRPs no matter how worst those films are, but films that are brought to the channel by another group are getting crushed. It is obvious that one group is managing to get fake TRPs, high for their films and low for others films, within the same channel.

We hear that the channel's bosses are stunned by this happening but they haven't questioned anyone about this. Because if they question that particular group, maybe the group will join hands with rival channels and outshine the whole channel's TRPs with their 'Fake TRP Scheme'. Is this something bodies like BARC and TRAI look at seriously? Definitely!!

Central Crime Branch sleuths investigating an alleged Television Rating Point (TRP) manipulation scandal said the accused fixed TRP meters at select houses, asked the occupants to run their television sets through the day and select channels on their directions.

Tele-serial producer Raju and four others have been arrested in the case. "The house occupants, whom we questioned, protested innocence. According to them, the main accused Raju told them that it was a booster box supporting their set-up boxes. Also, Raju paid the electricity bills of the houses and exempted them from paying their monthly cable fees," police said.

However, police said they are yet to get details of the money Raju took from TV programme producers whose TRP ratings he boosted by manipulation
