But in that process they r killing Diya character i.e she so dumb to realise drug drama as fake until ratan tells her ..

And making Diya staying with him even after he said no for some trivial reason or other e.g. ..dad illness, yash marriage ,telling other people ,prob in kesar Mahal etc all these r trivial after ratan said no ..emphatically

They r compromising her self respect ,intelligence level .But as u said no other option to make them unite they have to stay together ..

Actually Diya is not dumb. But She also doesn't know that Ratan knows abt her love for her to assume the rest. Where she stands right now all she is seeing is Ratan behaving badly and CT hinting at drugs. But Diya knows Ratan well. She knows what he is about. And with that why would she think about drugs. We saw ourselves how Ratan reacted to the drug idea before. So she is unlikely to think of that as first reason. Or trust CT and believe that is what is going on. So drama as reason for this is far fecteched in her mind. She will think it is something else (but def something that is going on). She will want to know what is really going on, She will evaluate the situation properly, then investigate and then with proof question him. But since Ratan can't lie to Diya for long I think he will blurt it out before it gets there. It is also not that Diya hasn't confronted him before he blurted the truth finally. We know she has.

I know of one character whonaways jumped the gun, accused first, felt the knew what was happening ..and that was Swara. If I come across a Swara in real life I would want to keep her away because rash investigation like hers would wreck relations in real life. And once they develop a creak it is not easy to mend. I would any day choose diya's slow deliberate investigation where she tries to really understand what is going on and doesn't jump the gun and rush to conclusion. She may take time n get there slow but her conclusions when they happen r likely to be more certain.

Also, the reason why she is staying still with him are not trival. She is someone who cares about her family a lot. She hasn't backed out from divorce decision. In fact she is one who suggested it (surpring ratan) but if telling the family 3-4 days later keeps them happy during what is a big happy event or in her fathers case does not stress him when medically he shouldn't be under stress then that is also not wrong. It doesn't reduce her self respect coz her decision hasn't changed, she has said it out loud. But it does makes her more considerate and mature. Which Diya is and has always been for her family. Think about how much strength it would take to accept the heartbreak n keep it in you for the time being. No ordinary person can do

Think bout it, she took the heart break n asked for divorce holding her head high.

Ratan doesn't think any less of her, was in fact surprised by her decision n surety in asking divorce. He is feeling guilty for it and would like to slow down process himself for her father n Yash. So she is helping him out there despite heartache

If Yash find out she didn't reveal it to family for his wedding, he is only going to appreciate how much of a true friend she is for taking heartbreak n still caring about his happiness.

Her father is going to think how much she cares for him and how much his health is imp that her heartache

In short no one that really matters to Diya (including in her own eyes) will ever think she compromised on her self respect. What others in society say matters little to her ...that is how Diya has always been

The only one who can that think she is sticking with Ratan still despite being rejected is Mohana. BecUse she wants to put Diya down and doesn't much cares about the fact that she is making this sacrifice also for Yash happiness.

..And I feel that all of our thought process is better than hers. So let's look at Diya the way she sees herself n not as Mohana will.
