Maybe I m late, maybe I should have written earlier here, have been a silent reader , sitting on the stands watching the passion, the new leash that Rishta.com created. Much was talked about the crazy Saas-bahu serials, about the regressive take that TV on the whole was taking, but what stood out was just RIshta.com. YRF, Sony( though u could hav down better with promotions) Thank you very much for atleast daring to think different.
26 episodes, waving a new story and a new aspect of lyf so brilliantly, each issue-each puzzle was dealt so amazingly. I dont think this show was just for urban crowd or the Gen y, this was for whole India, be it a modern girl going for arranged marriage or a mom dominating her son's lyf. Each story narrated a house of India. Yes, it's presentation was urban , it's language devoid of any earthern diction but it managed to seep the hearts. It was based on an age-old tradition " arranged marriage", it was neither judgemental nor preacher it just laid things donw the way they were.
Moving to the characters, ROhan m officially in luv with u n i know most of the girls here, Gosh , a player who got played with lyf so many tyms yet learnt to take things with a smile. You taught us how 2 fight lyf, how to liv lyf n above all u became a frn which perhaps v all lack. Kavi !! Standing Ovation! no award, no rankings nothin can justlify what u brought to this Rohan, all I can say is that for me u have booked ur place in our hearts 4evr, v would may not wear silly t-shirts 4 u but we will proud tell the world that yes our tv industry has a KAvi Shastri.luv is all v can giv u alwayz!
ISha, the seemingly outward Miss-Goody 2 shoes! who refused to sumtyms except her faults, who r independent and an inspiration 2 their gender but still she knew she needs her frnz, she knew her dad's happiness and worked for it b it excepting a new naina in her lyf. SHruti I have alwayz admired u as an actress, u show what acting is, no eye-locks, no made-up expressions but u did wore the vunerability of ISha splendidly. Yes , Isha starts and ends with u.Much luv
Huzaifa, Gosh, this character was the real narrator 4 me , u know alwayz adding a new flavour 2 each episode, b it being a comic relief, or a guy in luv with a grl half his age, u managed to hold the pearls of the whole seires sp perfectly ! KAvin, i dont know but Indian tv should be proud of the fact that u r a part of it! u dont need a 3hr movie or a 1000epi serial for u, u r a showsteller, a rockstar without guitar!! luv u alwayz
Ruchika, a kick-ass confident girl, from a small town who knows how 2 nachao guys on little fingr, most loyal frn, headstrong 2 d core, who knows that she is hawt but abovel all she is insecure be it her family issue, or a perfect guy , ditched twice when she thought of love, made the heart weep girl! Kiran!! u r superbly talented, v hav seen vamps with big hair, wearing tacky clothes and even tackier expressions but boy o boy u sooooooo send them packing home!! Go girl! u r a winner, luved u 2day n all through!!

Now as we all know the real Rishta.com - Rishabh Seth, yes plz go on making rishta season aftr season, but I really want to watch ur work on big screen , coz m stumped by u, u brought me back 2 indian serials, how u did it v dont know but u created a masterpiece in rishta.com, understandin emotions, appreciating grey in every1, identifying the little nothings u for atleast me made Rishta.com beat my all tym fav Friends too. Yes this serial was about friends ,whose lyf was interconnected but u added freshness n a new perspective everytym that today i can say 4 me rishta.com a new milestone for ny television history! it's now even an insult to say that it was India's friends! hatts off 2 u man!!
