Reth Update - March 15th, 2005

In the previous episode, Jia gets the baby from the panditji... Shekar comes to the temple and sees jia with the baby and questions her. She tells him that she is damn sure that it is her baby and that she saw the baby in the hospital too... and that the baby's smile resembles shekar's smile.

meantime, the other lady comes and takes the baby away i guess. Jia convinces shekar to allow her to give some toys and clothes to the baby.

Shekar is supposed to go to the lady's house. Netra hears this and warns Rakesh and she asks him to tell the lady to leave town for some days and go to Vashi.

Rakesh is at the lady's house and he sends the lady away in a rickshaw, after which he is kidnapped by some people in a maruti van. Manas is the one in the maruthi van. He sees shekar and takes this guy away to some place. Shekar meanwhile goes to the lady's house and knocks on the door. but there is no response. meantime, the lady's husband comes fully sloshed and asks shekar what he is doing at his house. So shekar tells him that his wife has sent some things for the baby to give to his wife. So the drunkard then says that his wife is crazy and asks shekar whether she can think anybody's baby as her own? Shekar is surprised. So teh drunkard clarifies that his baby was still born and she got somebody else's baby from the hospital.

This makes shekar remember all the incidents that jia had that the baby was alive. and her comments to shekar that the baby was alive.

Here meantime, Manas is threatening Rakesh. and Rakesh tells him that Netra was the one who along with the doctor switched babies. Shekar goes to the hospital and finds out that the doc is on a vacation for a month and has gone abroad. He starts thinking that it might not be a coincidence and that baby might be his and jia's. He gets Manas's call and manas tell him that the baby's life is in danger and that it is shekar and jia's baby.

On the other side, the lady with the baby is waiting for the bus at the bus stand, two men come and take her away.

In the pandey house, Netra insults Savitri and Devyani comes and gives it back to Netra. Netra is kinda upset at this. and Jia comes to her and asks her to tell the truth, Netra twists the facts and makes jia feel guilty ki netra ne jia ki jaan bachayi aur jia netra par ilzaam laga rahi hain.

Jia calls up Aru and warns her to tell everything to Harsh herself before he gets to know it through somebody else. and she also tells Aru that Netra is blackmailing rakesh. and rakesh and netra are together in this.

After some time, Jia gets a call and she is very surprised. Baba and ma ask her what the matter is and she tells them that her baby is alive and that it was switched at birth. everybody is happy except Netra. Episode ends at Netra's shocked face.
