A highly tensed SK continously caressed the back of his daughter who was sobbing inconsolably...
But Ananya cried harder instead of calming down...making him try to break the hug...but she snuggled further in his arms...refusing to leave him...
SK: Ananya...
He called lovingly...placing a kiss on top of her head...
A: papa..di..di..ne inn 5 saalo main mujhse bohot...b..bura bartaav kiya...hai..p..par aaj tak...kabhi...phy..physically m..mujhe hurt nahi kiya...p.par..aaj...
SK: physically?
He forcefully broke the hug examined her...cupping her face...
The features of his fave twisted in anger seeing the bright pinkish hand print on his daughter's cheek...leading to a slightly cut lip...& if that was not enough then her curly brown hair unsuccessfully hiding a wound with blood oozing out of it on her temple...
He felt ashamed seeing what his daughter had done to to his younger daughter...
Of course he loved the two equally...but Ananya was more close to him...she was like the last gift of his departed wife...
If Malvika was a matured girl he didn't have to look after much...his Ananya was childish & crazy...
He had always pampered her to the core...she was his princess & tears were the last thing he'd see in her eyes...

She moved away immediately even before completing her sentence as they heard a knock...
Once settled...Malvika convinced Khalid to leave...making him muse how Ananya reached there & who exactly the goons were...as he left reluctantly...
Malvika turned to Ananya once he left...
Pulling her by her wrist she led her to her own bedroom...
A: di...ye toh aapka room hai...phir...
Malvika ignored her after making her sit on the bed...
She walked to her wadrobe & took out the first aid box...& walked back to her sister...
A: didi...iss...sabki...I'm okay...
Mal: tumse kisine poocha?
Malvika asked her annoyed...
Ananya shook her head & lowered her eyes allowing her sister to do as she pleased...
Malvika gently pushed her hair back...she winced seeing the tiny but deep cut somewhere near her pulse...
A: aahh...
Ananya winced clutching Malvika's free hand tight...as she tried to clean it with savlon...
She smiled noticing Malvika's changing expressions as if it were she who was hurt...
A: I promise you di...ab aapko zyaada din apne emotions ko yoon dabaana nahi padega...aap khulkar mujhse pyaar karpaayengi...I promise...main aapko yakeen dila dungi ki main aur jiju nirdosh hai...
Ananya said to herself with a determined smile...
Next Morning...

Kabir's cabin...
Kabir looked up from his IPhone hearing a knock...
A joyful Ananya stepped inside & greeted him in her ever-sweet voice...
A: Good morning sir...aapne mujhe bulaya?
K: good morning Miss Kashyap...& yes...please have a seat...
Ananya nodded politely & sat down in front of him...
K: aapne vo kiya jo maine aapse kaha tha?
A: ji...Kabir sir...Ronnie ne footage theek se edit kardi hai...aur...unn ladkiyon ka chehra bhi blur karwa diya hai...
K: aap mujhe aapke notes ek basr phir dikha dengi?
He asked her in his usual tone...but her fave renained lit up like always...
A: ji...zaroor...main abhi laayi...
She said rushing back clumsily to her cubicle...fishing out her bagpack & looking for her notepad...
A: sir...
Ananya called once she was in again & placed a mug of coffee on his desk...while she held hers...
K: as far as I remember aapne toh ye page phada tha...right?
He asked seeing it stuck up properly again in the notepad looking like it wasn't torn ever...
A: hmmm...par meri maa kehti thi ki papars phaadkar unhe waste nahi karna chahiye...isiliye main chipka diya...
She spoke innocently just like a small child...
Kabir hid his smile...hearing this...he felt nice seeing someone with the same innocence once he possessed...
K: aur ye coffee...aap kyu laayi?
A: vo Shuklaji haina...vo peon...unke paav mein chot aayi thi...chalne mein problem horahi thi & as it is main aaphi ke paas aarahi thi toh maine unse aapki coffee lekar kaha ji main aapko de dungi...
The world is not such a bad place after all...is what Kabir found out seeing the goodness of his junior reporter...who stood in front of him...

She asked him cutely to which he could only nod & marvel at her lovely innocence...
Soon it was lunch time...Ananya never realised how time passed by as she worked out leads...
She too got up & stretched herself a bit...
She answered her cellphone lazily as it rang...
R: Ananya...kabse ruki hoon...jaldi aana canteen mrin...

Ananya quickly kept the things back & left for the canteen...
Just then she saw Rahul...the peon returning with a tray of food...
A: ye kiska khaana hai?
She asked curiously...
Ra: Malvika ma'am ka...unhone subah se kuch nahi khaya hai...

Ananya grew concerned...
A: umm..aap mujhe de dijiye...vaise bhi main unhi ke paas jaa rahi thi...
Rahul nodded & handed her the tray happy he'd not have to face the ever angry Malvika...
Ananya knocked timidly on the door of her di's cabin...
Hearing an uninterested " come in" she entered the room to find Malvika facing against her...
Ananya walked towards her desk & placed the food tray on it...
She lowered her eyes as soon she saw Malvika turn...
Mal: mera din kharaab karne ki vajah?
A: j..ji?
Mal: tumhari shakal dekhi hai toh din toh bura hi jaana hai...so tell me ab kya hai...bored with Manav or something?
Ananya blinked back her tears as her words peirced her delicate heart...
A: aapne...kuch...khaya nahi...tha...so...
Mal: really? tum meri parvah kabse karne lagi? mera pati cheenne ke baad? taras aagaya bechaari khaayegi nahi toh kahi mar...
A: diii!
Ananya screamed hearing what she was saying...
A: aap jo bolna chahe boliye par please marne ki baat mat kijiye...please...
She said joining her hands...
Malvika rolled her eyes...
A: main aapse baar baar kehrahi hoon...I swear di...I don't know ussdin vo sab kaise hua...I..I swear...main..aapke saath aisa kyu karungi...Manav jiju is like an elder brother to me...aap meri badi behen hai..phir...
Mal: ya right...elder brother come lover! haina!!!
Ananya closed her eyes in utter disgust...
Mal: tum jaisi manhoos ladki ko toh paida hone ka bhi hak nahi hona chahiye...maa se bas ek yahi galti hui thi...tumhe janm jo diya...
A: di aap maa ko kyu...
Mal: ( screamed) don't u dare take my maa's name from your filthy mouth! You bl**dy killed her!
Ananya went flying towards the door...banging her head hard on the door knob...
The hand of hers previously clutching her stimging cheek now rested on her head injury...
Malvika flinched at the way she fell...instant guilt washed over her & the urge to embrave her dister & apologise a million times took over but putting a stone over her heart...she fisted her hands...itching to touch Ananya & looked away...
Ananya looked at Malvika's backside with broken eyes...the look in them...tormented & shattered...
A: dii??
Was only a shocked gasp that escaped her lips...
Mal: jaate waqt darwaaza band kardena...
Malvika replied harshly wiping away her tears...
A: j..ji...
Ananya...still on the ground...closed her eyes as tears of pain trickled down her cheek...causing stinging pain on the cheek that was now reddened...
Unable to control her sobs...she ran to the washroom before she broke down badly...sobbing & sobbbing hysterically...

Ronnie shows thumbs up to Kabir & he begans his bulletin...
K: namashkar...main..yaani...Kabir Sharma...9 baje ki Khaas Khabre Kabir ke saath mein aapka swaagat karta hoon...aaj hum baat karenge haivaaniyat ki...hawas ki...hum janenge kaise kuch mard jinhe asal mein nard kehlaane ka adhikaar nahi...kaise asahay mahilao par apni so called mardaangi ka pradarshan karte hai...
Aaj khulaasa hoga ek aise hi haivaan ka jo apne hawas ki tripti ke liye kya nahi karta...
It is a shame on our society ki hum aise haivaano ko shayy dete hai...

Kabir ended his bulletin with a bang...that fake dance teacher was finished!
Once he was arrested...Khuraana informed Kabir over the phone...
SK: Manav...beta...Ananya kaha hai...tumhe pata hai?
M: ( worried) nahi papa...main toh pandeyji se milkar bas abhi aaraha hoon...vo kaha gayi?
SK: pata nahi...par uski mental condition abhi theek nahi hai...
He said narrating all that happened to Manav who grew furious hearing this...
M: itna sab kaise...
He started when suddenly...
All of the KKN's staff got up as Kabir came out of the studio...
From above...Khalid started clapping & soon was joined by all others in KKN...
Ananya had just returned from the washroom after touching up her face to hide the marks...
She noticed that everyone was looking at her...
A: oh god! vo gaal waala nishaan toh...par maine bhar bhar ke powder lagaya tha...phir...
She thought nervously...she suddenly frowned noticing Kabir walking towards her...
She started growing conscious all of a sudden...
In a matter of seconds Kabir stood in front of her...extending his hand to her...
His handsome face adored with a triumph look..
SK smiled as his daughter's face stretched into one of her loveliest & magnificent smiles...
He & Manav were blessing Kabir in their minds for being the reason of her lovely smile...
Kabir's huge & calloused palm held her slender palm in it...
K: thank you...Miss Kashyap...
He said to her huskily...obviously turned her red...
A: y..you're welcome...I..mean...thank you too sir...
She stuttered seeing her hero right in front of her...holding her hand...thanking her...
