Thank you Shree for taking action on this! I have been away from the forum for far too long and didn't know what could be done in this case! The first time the story "Asking for trouble" was plagiarized, and the thread was closed, I figured the "author" would understand her mistake and not repeat it again and yet, I was surprised at the lack of remorse and more blatant plagiarism and from whom? Jeffrey Archer?
I am terribly saddened by the fact that people do not understand that taking credit for anybody else's work is wrong. Its not just wrong, its illegal! If Jeffrey Archer came to know, this person could be sued to the end of the world.
I have another thing to say to all the readers on this forum. Be it here, or the fan fictions forum, each and every one of you holds a responsibility of being aware. If you guys stay aware and report stuff like this, it will automatically discourage plagiarism. You do not need to know/read all the books in the world to know that a story has been plagiarized. When you see a "sudden amazing improvement" in anybody's writing skills, it is absolutely clear what is happening and all of you readers need to take action against something like this! Remember, the more aware you are, the less anybody will have the audacity to cheat.
To sanee/saniiya, I have nothing personal against you. But, what you did is very wrong. You have been cheating your readers, readers who read your stories and think you have written it. Not just them, you have terribly hurt the original writers of the story. Plagiarism, however small in length, is not insignificant. And what did you really get out of doing all this? Is this the kind of love you seek? Love from people for work you did not do? I do hope you realize your mistake now at least, and have the courtesy to apologize for it.
Once again, thanks for all the effort Shree!
