KaYa SS - 5 Years and more....(Part 2 Pg 3 Up)

Hi Peeps, how has everyone been?

I've been missing from the forum for a while, just work nothing major, but I did catch up with all the ff and ts, I must say I see a lot of new awesome writers put up some amazing stories together. Kudos to all the old and new writers!

Ok so this one is a random short story, which starts right before KaYa's 5^th wedding anniversary. I hope you enjoy this just as much!

Kabir Sharma - A man she admired for what seemed a lifetime, the man -her hero, and the only man she fell in love with, Kabir was her world and she was proud to be married to the man of her dreams.

KaYa's days conspired of waking up in each other's arm, driving to work together, stealing moments from life at work and at dawn spending endless hours conversing about everything and anything life had to offer. Their lives has been so fulfilling with just each other's presence and at the same time very busy professionally, hence they didn't realize the passing days and the fact that they were already married for almost 5 long years.

Three days before their 5^th wedding anniversary, on a Friday evening in Sharma house:

A: Kabir, Khalid informed me today that you'll be out all of next week on a business meeting? How come I don't know about this?

K: Oh ya Ananya, I was so swamped that I completely forgot to mention, actually this was quite sudden and spontaneous decision as we are trying to get some new sponsors to invest in our channel...hence I fly out of India all of next week!!

A :( with puffed up cheeks): Well I do understand work comes first, but don't you think you need to inform your wife?? Plus Monday we celebrate our 5^th wedding anniversary, needless to say you've already forgotten about it, right mister I know it all?

K: (realization dawns): Oops you're right.. 5 yrs already Eh, not bad. I should be awarded the bravery award to put up with the every so moody every so childish ever so demanding Ms.Kashyap...hihihhii (If anything Kabir loved about their relationship the most was putting out fire and then making up for it, that's how their love kept growing)

A: (with anger in her eyes) what the hell did you just mutter? If you think I am deaf let me make it clear my power of hearing is just fine.

Kabir hugging Ananya

K: You know I love to play it with you, but the truth is I love you the most and I am incomplete without you. Now if my princess can understand, after this work trip I'll make it up for the anniversary, we can go wherever you want, do whatever you like? How's that for a thought?

Ananya still very angry: That doesn't change anything. The week after won't be our anniversary, so it wouldn't count, plus someone had made big promises of making it the most exceptional day of my life, I don't know where was that coming from!

Saying this angry Ananya storms on the bed and tries to sleep. Kabir tried his best to persuade Ananya.. Ananya baby...

A: Don't baby me, go and baby your KL and Khalid. I have a long day tomorrow.. Gnite!

Next morning didn't bring any ray of hope in Kabir's life, Ananya was still mad and now she even chose to ignore talking to her husband. There was no breakfast and it seems she even left for work before Kabir got ready. Even at KKN, Ananya completely kept ignoring Kabir, be it meetings or bumping in each other.

R: Anything wrong Ananya? I see you ignoring Kabir Jiju..

A: We'll talk when you hit you 5^th wedding anniversary Richa, for now let's leave this here.

Just after a little while more, Ananya had a basket of red roses delivered at her desk and it had a note saying:

"You came into my life unexpectedly,

And everything took a turn for the better.

Your warm eyes, your laugh,

The sincere way you speak,

And the kindness you showed me,

All became a part of my life.

As you unfolded yourself to me,

I discovered more and more beauty.

I have never seen so much

Gentleness in one person.

Without even knowing it,

You were slowly making a place

For yourself in my heart.

It used to seem so hard at times

To feel so close in a relationship.

But it's so easy to feel close to you.

I can't tell you how nice that feels.

I realize now that I had never known

What it meant to be loved

Until I was loved by you."

I love you baby - Am Sorry!!!

Upon seeing the red roses on Ananya's desk the whole office kept talking about how romantic a husband Mr.Sharma was, which added fuel to Ananya's anger. She decided to confront Kabir and once and for all end the matter.

But just before she could reach Kabir's cabin she was summoned by Khalid,

A: Yes Khalid, what do you need?

Kh: Ananya we have been tipped that there is this huge underworld party in Maldives next week and the who's who from underworld will be present. I was just wondering if you can go there under cover and try to record the meeting for KKN, you've always been the best reporter under such scenarios, hence I ask. By the way, Kabir knows nothing about this case; else I know he would never let you go alone, as I know he can't accompany you as he had to attend a big sponsor meeting next week.

Ananya was lost in her chain of thoughts, the idea of covering a firsthand underworld party was far more exciting a thought than she thought.

Kh: Ananya, do you follow me? Are you up for it? Ananya...

A: Aha.. Oh yes Khalid, yes, for the reporter in me is always up for challenges. Don't worry I won't share this with Kabir and I'll make sure we both stand up to our jobs in the best way we can.

Khalid always knew approaching Ananya was a better idea than approaching Kabir, as post their wedding Kabir always put Ananya ahead of his work. He breathed a sigh of relief after listening to what Ananya had to say.

All of Ananya's anger had vanished in a second, and now she could think from Kabir's shoes of how important the work and meeting meant for him. With the thought of making up for their spat, Ananya entered Kabir's cabin. Kabir was a little astonished to see Ananya as he always knew his girl was a though crack:

K: I always knew roses work, but didn't know they work so fast. I see you here with a happy smile on your face is everything alright with you wifey or am I in more trouble?

A: Aww Kabir, where do you learn to know the tricks to flatter a woman! The roses and the message both are very beautiful. I forgive you to not being with me on our 5^th Anniversary.

But before Ananya could complete her sentence, Kabir interrupts:

K: You don't have to forgive me anymore Ananya; I already spoke with Khalid and told him to replace me for the meeting as I have some more important things to take care of.

A: But Kabir, you know work comes first!

K: Not before my wife's smile

Ananya was caught in her own trap. Now she wanted to go to Maldives to cover the underworld party, but she couldn't bring it up to Kabir.

Btw I wrote the poem that is in the note with red roses.
