Sitting in the living room ...Madhu tried to distract Aryan...as he kept on asking abt Kabir & Ananya...
Showing him the picture book Madhu enunciated "Ok, Aryan...Can you say 'Cat'? 'C-A-T'" ....& how does cat say...

Aryan (smiled)"Paaa..

Madhu (laughed)"not paa...silly boy, its Me-ow...

Aryan looked past Madhu..."Paaa"

Madhu (smiled)--Yes, darling...Paa is coming soon...(showing him book again)see

She stopped midway, as Aryan waddled his way across towards the main door...as Madhu had her back towards the door she didn't realized Aryan has spotted Kabir at the door...which made him call out for him...& getting picked up, Aryan hugged Kabir tight...

Kabir (kissing him on his cheek)"So, missed me kiddo... You were a good little boy, weren't you?

Madhu (smiled) -indeed he was an angel! Although...kept asking for you at night time....(ruffling Aryan's hair) had tough time making him sleep...

Aryan hugged Kabir more tightly, as if realizing he was being teased...

Ananya (tickled Aryan)---dats unfair sirf Paa... ko miss kiya mujhe nahi...(pretended she is leaving) Maa wapis chali jati hai...

Just her action of turning around made Aryan wail loud... extended his arms out to her wanting to be held.

Ananya(holding)"awwie, Sorry (rubbing his back) not going anywhere happy...

After a while settling down, Aryan refused to be let down by himself...he still snuggled to Kabir...
Shekhar & Madhu popped up the question they had been dying to ask to Kabir...

Shekhar (curious)"so, now will you spill the beans...how exactly Mr. Paul changed the decision & early morning he called in to congratulate that we got the project...

Ananya -exactly jiju, Main bhi tabse pooch rahi hoon...coz jab tak hum Italy se chale the, we didn't had the project...I kept asking him (to Kabir) bataiye na, when it happened

Kabir (smiled)"you really want to know when it happened...(Ananya nodded) fine, It happened when, jab aap madam, naraaz hogayi thi, (teased) coz I commented on your non stop chattering...aur mujhse baat nahi kar rahi thi...aur

Ananya (interrupted)"here you go again...main itna nahi bolti...(sulked) & itna details mein jaane ki zarut nahi hai Mr. Sharma...

Kabir (laughed)"kamaal hai, tumhi ne toh poocha, when it happened...& I am serious, sab kuch usi time hua...(she got up to go...but Kabir made her sit back again) fine, dobara mooh fulane ki zarut nahi hai, tumhe manane mein kaafi mehnat karni padti hai...

Madhu -seriously Kabir, we wanted to know project kaise mila...

Ananya (again jumped in)"aur aapko pata tha ...toh mujhe kyun nahi bataya...dats not fair, aap...

Kabir (interrupted)"Madam, mujhe bhi nahi pata tha, its just when we landed, got a msg from Mr. Paul...& now, with your permission Main bolu?? (teased)dats why I say...bolna shuru ho jati ho...then there is no stop button...

Ananya opened her mouth to retort, but decided to keep shut...else he will go again pulling his leg, Madhu & Shekhar laughed at their banter...

Kabir narrated abt the incident :

When they were about to leave for sightseeing & Ananya rambled away with her list of places...😛😆 Kabir had stopped over reception to check about transport for next day to drop them at airport for early morning flight...later he may not get a time...
Thanking the receptionist he was about to walk out, when he passed an office tucked away behind the expansive reception area, and is quite surprised to hear a voice he recognised coming from behind the door left slightly ajar...& it wasn't difficult for him to recognize the two voices, infact one voice he can recognize anywhere...

Neha-- 1,000 Euros as promised Mr Tony...& Thank you!!! & hope you remember the promise... Not a word of this slips out of your mouth... I could lose this contract and my reputation if anyone finds out how I got a copy of Sharma's quotations!

Tony (just nodded)"you don't need to worry, every thing is in control...I deleted the call history on this phone so no-one will know I contacted you...I have also deleted the photocopier's task history.(smirked) as for his stupid staff woman ...she had no idea anyone was in the office when she came to copy the original document...

Handing him the money, Neha was about to turn around to leave, when Kabir hid behind the pillar at right time...& watched Neha leave...he was unable to believe what he had just heard...& it took all his self control not to stop & shout at her right there & then...he might have even slapped her if given a chance... just when he thought Neha can't sink any longer...she decides to surprise him...For once he had accepted the fact, & came to the terms to not to ponder over the loss, for which he worked so hard... but what disgusted him, was the fact ...how conveniently, last night she blamed Ananya for the loss...

Composing himself, he instantly called up Mr. Paul...just informed what he saw, didn't even said a word to change his decision about contract...He left for Paul to decide on his own.

Ananya stared at him blankly, she cudn't believe he hid everything from him...& didn't said a word to her, when logically it had been her fault, back on first day when they had been working on final presentation she indeed copied certain documents & she had left papers carelessly on the table & have left a room for a phone call, as Madhu had called up to discuss about work & there wasn't proper signal in room...

But now, deep inside she felt guilty for her stupid mistake & professionally she had been literally careless...her mistake made him loose the contract...but he, he blindly trusted her, She still remember his words from their chat in the garden...Inspite of the loss, he was comforting her back then...& now after knowing the reason of loss, he didn't accused her...
She was about to say something...when Kabir guessed her expressions, he cud make out she was blaming herself...He cud even see tears glistening in her eyes...

Kabir (sighed)--Now You get the reason, kyun nahi bataya tha tumhe...coz I knew you will start blaming yourself...

Ananya (guilty)"but ...still, It was my fault... & what if you hadn't come to know about how you lost the contract (paused) I am sorry...meri wajah se...

Kabir (coolly)"tumne jaan boojkar paper waha chode the ?(Ananya nodded in No) or you knew Tony, or anyone else was there in room & you left the room purposedly, ya tumne khud papers Tony ko diye?? so he cud easily leak out details to Neha...(Ananya nodded in No again) ...then whats the point to blame yourself?? (teased) now will you stop crying, see Aryan is pouting too...& it will be tough for me to console two of you simultaneously...

Madhu & Shekhar shared a silent smile, they were happy that Kabir has moved on & started trusting people, if it had been months back, Kabir wud have never trusted Ananya or anyone else for that matter & wud have just fired the person from the job, or might have blamed himself for the loss...she said a silent prayer, that these two remain same always...Seeing two of them going serious & Ananya going all silent ...Madhu decided to change the topic...

Madhu (cheerily)"So!!! Now that everything is sorted can we have the long due party oops sorry, the wedding reception!!! Because of tight schedule Kabir, tumhe acha excuse mil gaya tha...(beaming) how about now?? & as it is you need to make a formal announcement

Kabir"Di, I think you had agreed, for a small wedding, nothing extravagant & formal, already you went too far, with elaborate wedding set up...as for announcement we did made one...we did release a official statement...

Madhu wanted a celebration, for the couple, somewhere she felt for Ananya, may be she had wanted a big extravagant wedding, but since Kabir was not ready for it, she agreed for simple wedding at temple...but a little celebration wud make up for it...

For some strange reason, Kabir didn't felt comfortable with the idea, he wud hate ppl gossiping about him marrying second time, or ppl tagging Ananya as a replacement...he had enough of public spectacle thanks to his first marriage...

Madhu (hopefully)"but still, I mean...an introduction of your wife wud be better at a party than just a mere press release...(she looked at Ananya for support) Right Ananya...

Now she was stuck in a fix, she cant agree with Madhu...as it wud be almost demanding from Kabir, & she cant even force him to have one...Seeing Ananya silent & Kabir not giving in... Madhu gave the couple a sad face, looking utterly disappointed that her brother cant fulfill her simple wish...she spontaneously burst into tears taking everyone by surprise...

Shekhar (tried to comfort his wife)"look Kabir, what you have done,

Ananya (added in little voice)--I mean, if Di wants, we can have a party (she looked expectantly at Kabir)

Kabir (sighed)--Fine as you wish !! & Di, will you please stop crying, you know I hate when you cry...

Madhu smiled widely as if she hadn't been crying at all...wiping her tears, she gave a huge grin.

Madhu (excited)-- Ok good! I've already sent out the invites for the party over weekend & had already called the caterers...the decorators will be here by evening to set everything up for party day after...

Kabir gaped at Madhu Di...Madhu gave a triumphant smile...he just shook his head...not believing she tricked him...she was about to leave..

Kabir (sternly)- What?? & what do you mean?...you sent invites?...

Madhu (sheepish)"just a few...

Kabir (sighed)" "few" matlab, half the town, all of our friends and family, distant relatives, Amritsar wali Maasi, Lucknow wale Mama, Jaipur wale chacha...etc...etc...& unke Padosi...probably everyone you know...Nahi ?(he got up to leave) You are impossible Di...Remind me, next time not to agree to any of your demands...

Madhu (teased)"next time I will ask Ananya to put forward my demand...uski baat mana nahi karoge...like just now you agreed...

Even before Kabir cud reply, she scurried out shouting she has so much to prepare for the party...

Since it was just a day left for party ...Ananya wanted to discuss few things about it, which she didn't got a chance to discuss with Kabir, as him getting busy throughout the day, with office work, also arranging up for new contract with Mr. Paul...he too wud be joining teh party...
She & Madhu had spent whole day arranging everything...She knew she wud find Kabir in Aryan's nursery making him sleep...this is one habit, which Ananya feels Aryan will never give up...😆.She laughed at the thought, that Aryan will not allow anyone to replace Kabir, not even herself...no matter Aryan might spent whole day with her, ...or he might have started calling her Ma, but Aryan always needs Kabir's presence around him, & no matter how late Kabir returns from work...Aryan will not agree go to sleep...unless Kabir puts him to sleep.

Entering inside she saw Aryan sleeping peacefully holding Kabir's hand...& side hugging the new teddy he brought from Italy,...oops its "Pa jaisa Eddie" as Aryan calls it, coz the Teddy was dressed in a suit & tie like Kabir...

Noticing Kabir being busy in a phone call & not wanting to interrupt his phone call...she was about to turn back, deciding she will talk to him later when he comes back to room...but she halted in steps when she heard what he was talking...

Kabir (laughing)"Ofcourse Love You Baby, & Tumhe kabse invitation ki zarut hai?...as if main invite nahi karta tum nahi aati...

Ananya wondered about "Baby"...even while discussing the guest list Kabir had asked double checked with Madhu, if she had invited "Baby"...
Back then Ananya hadn't paid attention...
