Why So Much Negativity?

Am making a post here after a long time not because I don't like the current track but because of personal issues.

May be my post will not be liked by many but after reading so many negative comments on the current track (the final track I should say), I could not prevent myself from writing.

I know many feel that SK's matter should not have been brought up at the end of the show, but without this matter being settled the essence of KaYa relationship would have been lost. Kabir had been instrumental in justice being denied to 50 children and also to SK. Whatever his personal reasons but he had failed in the humanity department. His guilt had not left him for all these years and now we can say that his reason for turning to drinks was less Shreya and more his guilt.

He had delayed in telling Ananya the truth (again for very valid reasons) but when the truth was revealed and Ananya reacted as she did (which not only to us but to her friend's also was wrong) he did not hold it against her. He knew he had been at fault and for this he was willing to sacrifice everything.

Later when Dada clarified the matter about the letter things became clearer to her (and to us also). As Richa said she's more angry at herself than at Kabir. Angry and probably guilty that she said such nasty things to him. Buit thnat also he will never hold against her. That's the type of human being he is.

Their only aim is getting justice for the 50 children, SK and now Ronnie. I personally feel that's true to the very essence of the show..

A show like Reporters should not be about the love life of two or more individuals working as reporters in a news channel, but about how baring the truth to the whole nation and to the world at large should be their be all and all all. Romance is a side track here and we should not crib about it.

Now coming to negative reactions on Ronnie's death/murder. I agree I too was disappointed at it. But then when the apparent reason behind it sank in I appreciated the thinking of the CVs. To see Shreya's exit from KaYa's life she had to be nailed on some wrong doing. I mean a serious one. For a person like her just a warning or a threat would definitely not be enough to get her permanently out of their lives. It was very important to nail her on a criminal charge. Her involvement in Ronnie's murder again will not be proved, as it would definitely be judged accidental death in his attempt to save Ananya. But she can definitely be charged for attempting to murder Ananya. Other than that there could have been no way to bring her to justice. The only thing I found silly (and unacceptable) was to show her as a person needing psychiatric treatment. But then such minor flaws can and should be overlooked when the overall package is very good.

This show has brought out many positive and negative points not only of the media industry, but of the corporate world at large. Its shown multiple shades of individual characters, mainly Kabir, Khalid, Manav, Malvika. Only Shreya's character was a bit cliched but then I think that was also necessary to the CVs to garner TRPs.

All in all this is not a post to criticise any members of the forum but just to make a request that as we near the fag end of our much-loved show lets be positive and end our association on this forum on a pleasant and happy note.

May KaYa always be together, and may they together rule the media world, and set an example to all with their honesty, integrity and their zeal to fight for the right and to see that justice is done to all deserving individuals.

Thanks to all for reading this and please excuse my ramblings.

I loved your post

I agree that Ronnie's death was an emotional thing but it's done and we should enjoy the story

I don't agree with some if they say SK murder should not have been brought back because RK had mentioned that it's a story of two people haunted by a past so closure of both their past was required

I also wish KaYa are together always and I still have faith in them

There have been many worse shows RKs characters have themselves died in some shows hence for me Ronnie's death though painful is still fine if compared to a larger blow in the form of something happening to Kabir or Ananya

I also feel that with Ronnie's death they have something to rove about Shreya

Anyways I just want to enjoy the last few episodes

Awesome Post.
Well we all are disappointed with the current happenings in the show especially on Ronnies death it's because we are very much connected to this show within ourself also this show has become a day to day part of our life in every aspect, hope few of you will agree with me in this.

Eventhough most of us don't want such a twist like this but the writer would have thought to show in a different way which may be necessary for the remaining part of the story.

Only 11 more days to go for our favourite show,so let's us all sit back & enjoy the remaining of the show together.😛

Even I m thinking the same..we have witnessed RK's character death so many times that this is nothing. And overall this show is abt KaYa n their journey. I m happiest person if RK complete this without a scratch on him..with ananya.

Same here I don't want an LRL
this I can live with

Frankly Ronnie was a lovely character but I was not watching the show for him I was watching it for RK and Kritika

I think most people were watching them for either or both of them. Then why are we ( and I am including myself ) creating a habit which is giving a signal on sick all media that Ronnie was more important than Kabir/ Ananya ???

Why are we so upset that it's giving a message that we loved and wanted Ronnie more than KaYa???

I am sorry if that's sounding harsh that is not what I mean . I also was fond of Ronnie but for me and for many of us it was story of KaYa

So why are we giving this faulty impression that we have lost interest in the show because one lovable but side character has died????

If the writer asks did you like the story ??? I can bet most of us will say yes . Then why create this negativity and negative reaction???

Second ur thought... Yes we are getting emotional for ronnie. But that doesn't mean this show is ended with Ronnie. It's all abt KaYa.. And at the end of the day it is kabir( rk) for whom we r still there. Many post r saying death of Ronnie is an unredeemable burden on kaya's love story.. Why yar..it is situation responsible.. Not kabir. If they show sumthing happened with kabir..then? If it will happen..for me Show ends at that point.

So I m enjoying till RK is there. And he will..

I don't know what to say about this ! Yes, Ioved Ronnie. He was perhaps the most sensible and well sorted character on the show ! I don't wanna argue about whether he was a side character or a parallel lead. But the fact is, the writer, by his conviction felt that it was necessary to kill him to raise his contribution to the story and take it further ! Many including me, do not agree ! But that is his perspective, his understanding of his story, which can't be claimed as outright wrong or illogical ! Perspectives are not something absolute ! But now, its done.. Its over !
What I don't understand is, how does this effect people's satisfaction with KaYa ? Ronnie's love had been rejected long back by Ananya. KaYa didn't come together because Ronnie died. They confessed and came together all by themselves ! Then how does the charm of their bond lessen with Ronnie's death ? Rather, I feel they will become more strong with this incident !

No relationship in this world is a bed of roses ! All relations face a rough patch. People decide to break up and then again true love & dedication brings them together ! I don't think just because KaYa faced a bump, their relationship has lost its essence ! We do say a hell lot of hurtful things to our parents as well, but that doesn't decrease the strength of our bond by an ounce !

As for Ronnie, he will DEFINITELY be missed, but I don't think this takes away the essence of KaYa !

agree with u don't know why people r so negative . personally i don't have problem with story and its execution ..i think those r unhappy who watching this show only for love story .. love story is important but i think we cant see only romance without strong backdrop. life is not easy for anybody so why people want everything like fairy tale ..i doint think in life this is possible .we love this show because of its uniqueness so now what is problem and they killed to rony when only no of episodes left so why this hungamaa !!!!!!
when SA said "people want different show but they r not ready to accept it may be she was harsh some where but she was not wrong completely either.

Lots of intersting opinions, will just add in my two cents.
If I look at this show from point A to point B, then I can say that I'm satisfied. was it perfect? No, definitely not. More than Ronnie's death, The poorly conceived SK case and kabir's involvment derailed the story. Ananya's anger was justified but her OTT behaviour was unncessary, Writers did not even show us her internal struggle as a result many could not sympathize with her. Despite all that, I never doubted her love for kabir. Relationships are not perfect, and Kabir and Ananya are not perfect either but love does not diminish overnight. they still love one another and they deserve to be together. Those who are angry with ananya on behalf of kabir need to get over it, Kabir loves her too much to be angry with her and this entire mess was his fault. Ananya's rudeness does not excuse his poor decision, which is why he did not react like many wanted him to.

Reiterating my previous point, it is not a perfect show but a good show nontheless. People who say Reporters is as bad as the shows that are on air right now are exaggerating. Really? reporters is terrible as yeh hai mohabbatein, sasural simar ka, diya aur baati hum? everyone is entitled to their opinion but I can't seem to wrap my head around this. Reporters has its flaws but it is nowhere near as bad as the shows mentioned above. This is the only show where I have seen a death of a loved character be treated with so much sensitivity and grace. This the only show where writers actually respect human emotions and manage to bring out perfectly.
