so true...they kept it natural...no melodrama...just the powerful dialogues and the brilliant expressions once again by Rajeev and Kritika...Rajeev's eyes speaking volumes...the pathos and the agony Kabir Sharma is going through that only Rajeev could potray..

But the Slap just left me gobsmacked...was shocked to say the least...never expected Ananya to slap Kabir...but it had a powerful impact though I did not like it...

What irked me was Ananya giving an ultimatum to Kabir to just reply yes or no...comeon this is the matter of their whole life ahead and you cannot just tell it in one word...but yes knowing Ananya should not be surprised...she had the habit of taking abrupt decisions on the spur of the moment...but yes from Ananya's point of view can't blame her too this time...remains to be seen how Kabir ressurects and comes out a winner in this situation too...

as of Shreya less said about her the better...

I have to say I so agree Geetha! I feel so sad that these days I am not able to see the epis live and have to rely on LUs because it does spoil the thrill. I am sure had I seen this epi live I would have been much more shaken than I already am! Having said that I still have to say that Rajeev and Kritika just owned that scene!! I did not know about they reading the mail together and when I saw that scene...that change in Kabir's expression and the terror in his eyes...It gave me goosebumps!! You know I have seen both KTH and LRL and Rajeev has always been great with emotional scenes irrespective of how much he had to cry but the truth is that a man crying so magnanimously is just not real. What he portrays as Kabir is the most subtle, real yet the most powerful ways of emoting. Those teary eyes, the shaking voice, the submissive body language...The MAN just out does himself in every frame.

As per story perspective I am happiest than ever. Some of the things to rejoice are that Kabir is not even 1% guilt-ridden. I always maintained this since the day he and Tarini began talking about the SK case and tonight his reaction when Ananya said "even you are a culprit"...It just made me so sure that he is not at all guilty. I am sure he has a very strong reason that forced him to lie. Yes he was wrong but he had his valid reasons. So all in all its gonna be very hard for him and we will see him in a lot of pain but surely all of it will be worth it. Tomorrow Ananya and Anita might say nasty things to him and he will be shattered, specially with Ananya breaking the engagement but this is gonna be one beautiful ride we will always cherish...and If RaTika have planned to give us such performances every day, I am dying for this track to unfold.

One more thing I am loving is that in this whole scenario basically Shreya is not the culprit till now. In most of the shows the vamp does all the shit and the leads suffer but here this problem is because of Kabir's baggage...its because of the communication gaps between KaYa...its because of the li'l flaws yet to be bridged in their relationship. So even now its not about Shreya but KaYa because ultimately Shreya didnt distort any info. She just used facts to break KaYa and sadly shes succesfull. So at the end, its KaYa who have to learn to identify their weak links and work on them.

All in all, a brilliantly conceived, directed and acted epi. I have never seen something so hard-hitting with such subtle treatment...even bollywood doesnt get this close!! Having to see this on tv is something surreal.

I did not watch the episode so I can't say but what possessed Kabir to get into a relationship with Ananya given what he knows? this is such a last minute twist, with glaring bloopers.

to clarify, i'm quite leniant with bloopers and unrealism. I have looked past all the loopholes because imo, the story is still good but this twist just does not seem well thought out.

Agreed. The question really is not why was he forced to give up the investigation, I'm sure he had strong enough reasons. But why did he get into a relationship with Ananya knowing he was hiding her reason of existence from him. In the last 3 weeks they are going to weaken their own characters and an otherwise beautiful love story. There is absolutely no time for either a logical conclusion or a redemption. Alas, fate of all Indian serials, I should be used to them by now.

I still think this a good serial, and I will always remember it as one of greatest serials on indian television. the messy twists does not take away what this show has achieved, it is still a right step towards more quality material on indian TV. the writing and acting is what made this show, everything was done tastefully and the human emotions were executed with absolute finesse.

I'm not happy with this latest turn, and I don't think this twist was necessary. anyways, I will just wait and see how the next events unfold.

I agree with all that you say in terms of this show being a trendsetter of sorts to provide quality material on Indian TV. Nothing was exaggerated. Everything was done perfectly in terms of planning by the producers and writers and execution by the brilliant actors. This show could connect with the viewers in a short time, which is a big achievement for all the people associated with it.

That said, I do wish they had a tight script. Just because the serial was extended from 120 episodes to 130, they seem to have added this totally unnecessary twist. This is a twist for the sake of a twist.

Ananya was already quite angry with Shreya on her engagement. She could see through her. So there was no need for another MU track to get her to see the evil behind Shreya's sugary sweetness. Now that they have only 126 episodes, I hope they quickly get back to their original story.
