Very very well said dear..
Like you I too am very choosy about what I watch on tv and reporters attracted me from the time it's promos were aired... And from the 1st episode I was glued to it...

But somehow from the moment I gauged its contents I had a feeling it would not gain TRPs...this show is bot one which the Indian housewives would want to watch...its one for the classes an not for the masses...

But I'm very grateful to th production house for giving me something wonderful to watch at least for 6 months... after this I don't know when we'll get to see a sophisticated, different show like reporters...

As for the cast Rajeev tops the list...and all characters however minor a role they've played have been wonderful...

The characterisation and casting have been so perfectly done...and all characters have been shown so true to life... all having their strengths and weaknesses like all human beings...

The corporate jealousy, corporate politics... even Personal jealousy... Are all so true to life...they occur in all work places and in everyone's lives...

I think we'll have a long long wait till w can again get something as classy as Reporters...

And I'm sure the show will live in our hearts for a long long time to come...

PS thanks a lot for this wonderful post.
Just hope true makers.read.it and they as well as others keep coming forward with.such.wonderful.shows...

Thanks a lot Mehek for all the appreciation... that makes all the efforts worth while... I know I got emotional yesterday but couldnt help it. Unfortunately, its always other things rather than television attracted me... since I am seriously more than done with all the so called soap operas... Reporters came as a fresh breath to me... specially Rajeev whom I always liked a lot... though, I was previously not a big fan of him but his acting in Reporters made me understand what kind of caliber this man has... Have never seen such a natural acting before!!! Hats off to him!!
And yes, the show will indeed will live in our hearts forever!!!
Love you for such an amazing comment and thanks once again!!!

@asthana...
Like you I also had liked Rajeev as an actor but in reporters he has proven to be a simply wonderful and most talented actor...he particularly will live in my heart for a long tome to come...I just hope he does some other unique role again and gives us another memorable performance...he's most suited for these roles...

Waiting to see him again...

Keep writing for the next three or four weeks dear...

Love reading such honest appreciative posts...

I agree! This show deserved a lot higher TRP. I am an overseas online viewer, so can't contribute to the same. However I firmly believe the audience at large should have embraced this type of storytelling. It is so lacking in melodrama and to the point. They show realistic things and people. The focus is on a group of co workers and not kitchen politics and Saas Bahu atiyachar and mind games etc! There is no super villain always making life miserable for leads and everyone else, no outlandish plots, black magic, snakes and Dayaan's etc.

But even after all that, shows like #Reporters get less TRP than utter BS shows with cheap stories and tacky story lines, showing the same old ghissa pita stuff! I seriously hope the lack of TRP did not discourage other makers from making shows like this, nor doing a Season 2 of Reporters. (Which I am not sure will happen). However I know the channel is aware the show is highly appreciated and has a very strong online audience and presence. The show is taken seriously by people who write articles on TV shows with sites like Fuzion productions always praising the show. Currently Reporters is leading the poll on "Best fiction show on Sony TV". A clear majority has voted for Reporters! I sure hope the channel and makers can see what a strong fan base this show has, despite the low TRP. Indian TV needs more shows like Reporters! Let's hope they continue to make them!

Thanks a lot for your comment... Well, I also hope that the makers will surely listen to us... but its not the mistake of the makers of stereotype serials, its the mistake of viewers like us, who make such stupid stuff a big hit... I have seen many so called educated people watching all these stuff and on top of it, crying and laughing with such melodramatic characters...I really cannot understand...
but anyways, I still feel that if we the online viewers come together, we can at least make a request for season 2 . so will you support?

I am not an active member in this forum, but I am a constant visitor of this forum...also reporters is the first show that attracted me towards India Forum...
As everyone else I started watching reporters jus bcz of Rajeevbn kritika n I am a huge fan of both...I din even mis a single show of rajeev n kritika...I have watched almost all from rajeev's kahin to hoga to kritika's kuch toh log kahenge...
When reporters started in Sony I was a bit disappointed bcz somewhere inside I knew that the conventional ppl will stick to the same old serials...bt even then I thought as it is rajeev ppl mite watch..sadly it din happen...I personally insisted some ppl to watch atleast one or two episode of Reporters and now those r the ppl who come n explain me the episode if I happn to mis any...
The major prblm wid ppl is that they are not ready to give a chance to other shows by atleast watching one episode...this show was realistic n reflect a true picture of human being...human beings are not God...they can commit mistakes, they can be jealous, revengeful, sarcastic etc... I don't think a human being can be so divine like a God or goddess or as devlish as some shows depicts...Reporters is a show which is unpredictable... It is just awesome..
Unfortunately very less ppl realized it...Bt atleast we can be happy that we are the luckiest that we took a effort to watch such a brilliant creation...

Anyways we need not worry much because the cast and the CVs already knew that they were taking a risk by bringing such a brilliant show for such a conventional audience...

Anyways I am stopping bak bak here...😊
