Right at their post confession scene, it was made clear that Kabir-Ananya's relationship is going to be about "blind trust". However unreal it might seem to us, it has been the biggest highlight of their dynamics ! Blind trust is what Ananya did when she was ready to accept Kabir without knowing his past till the moment he forced her to listen to it. Even after knowing Kabir's version of the truth, her faith in him did not dwindle ! She understood that only a brutally honest man would go on to confess his ONS with his best friend to his girlfriend, who happens to be his last Raye of hope, final chance at a good life ! That too, right after they had confessed ( Remember, Kabir wanted to tell everything just after the confession during the most magical moments of his life).
Further, when she asked about Tarini's current status in his life, Kabir did not shy away from accepting that she continues to be his closest friend, an important person in his life! Just a moment after he had confessed his biggest mistake, he went to reveal another truth of his life, unapologetically. Wasn't it a proof enough of the sanctity of their friendship ? So why should Ananya now rush to Tarini or Kabir take a conscious initiative to make them meet? For Ananya and her blind trust, Kabir's version is the ultimate truth ! For her it was an incident which happened when she was nowhere in the picture ! So it won't serve her any purpose to further probe into the matter!
Going to Tarini for clarifications, would be just distrusting Kabir in a hidden way.
I think they should meet each other eventually, with the flow of events, as Kabir's fiance and best friend with a past of course ! (that cannot be overlooked) They can gradually open up and discuss things.
From the story point of view, this suspense might be killing us, but we need to be more patient. Everything cannot be revealed in a day ! One event or a lack of it, is entwined with a following one.. Let's wait for the story to unfold rather than jumping at conclusions about the characters! And it shouldn't be that difficult when we are used to soap operas which stretch for years and this show will have all its cards out in the open in the next 32 episodes!
