The Good and the Bad!!

I intend to write the shortest analysis I have ever written ;) let's see whether I succeed in my mission ;)

Another filler kind of episode, but slightly different from what we had been getting in the past few days, and stage is set for Anita - Shreya meet, which I hope would pave way for the long overdue revelation of the past..

When it rains, it pours!!! This is what came to my mind to see 2 bulletins / shows in one episode ;). Somehow can't keep my focus on the TV screen during Manav Bhai's show though ;). I mentioned in my yesterday's post about Kabir with his new found wisdom (courtesy : his lady love), turning KKN's focus into spreading positivity ;). We have seen it happening in yesterday's episode, Khass Khabar becoming family reunion time :)

A quick listing of what I liked in the episode,

1) The debate about the plight of senior citizens, a worthy start of Manav se Manavta tak, a much needed topic to be discussed. The narration of the old lady looked very real, though the panelists looked pompous. Btw, as for as I know, most documentaries don't show the real victims, they get some actors to enact the role. In this case, why did they show the old lady without protecting her identity (documentaries when they show real people, usually blur the face)

2) The rapport and show of support from Richa to Ronnie. Made me wonder why we don't see Annaya doing this pep talk with anyone.. Do the makers purposely show her this way?

3) Ananya's scene with her best friend and boyfriend, I liked this scene for multiple reasons. Finally a glimpse of passionate Ananya who goes beyond the call of duty. As Kabir said few times, she is one reporter who feels for the stories she works on, they are never just news for her. This time Kabir was in in perfect synch with her, that was indeed a welcome sight, she hadn't needed to tell him what was there in her mind when she looked so heartbroken seeing the show, he knew it instinctively that she wants to make the difference and he was all for whatever she wanted to do, and the best friend was in synch too, he knew what Ananya needed from him without asking. All the three reading each other without the need of words. And this is the first Kabir - Ananya scene without even a hint of personal flavours in a long time. Nice to see the professional rapport without the BF - GF equation.

4) The other day, Kabir mentioned about the synch between Richa and Ananya during Richa's bulletin, but the synch between himself and Annaya certainly overshadows it. They were in perfect tandem during the reporting and Kabir does make it look very authentic while he watched Ananya interviewing the family of the old lady, the posture and demeanour gives out a genuine interest in the live reporting. And the easy way they communicated without the formality 'Over to you Kabir' and 'Thank you Ananya', first time ever after the confession, the only other time they addressed each other informally on air was when Kabir presented the news from hospital.

5) The worry wart Ananya with her brother, I liked the easy camaraderie between the mother and children, a welcome sight. Anita is indeed a cool mom, whether it is with Ananya dating her boss or with Armaan's studies.

6) Ananya being an escapist once again when her mom brought up the subject of Kabir - Shreya's divorce, I liked it because it triggered Anita's worry and also because it is another proof that Ananya is not as cool as she claims when it comes to Kabir's past or even present. Because with Shreya very much in the picture, the past is no more just a past. Yes, I am slightly disappointed with her escapist attitude, but that's how she is, something drastic has to happen to make her face it up.

What I didn't like in the episode,

1) Khalid's OTT act with Manav, I usually like Khalid, but yesterday he was just too much, seems like Shreya's OTT sweetness is rubbing on him. I liked how Kabir handled the whole scenario very professionally, including the slight nod of acknowledgment to Shreya.

2) The whole last segment with Ananya and Baby. Does it have any purpose other than filling the screen time? I would have still liked if only Baby mentioned her Prince Charming to be someone like Kabir ;). Would have love to see possessiveness flaring up in Ananya ;)

3) The whole group 'Jai Hind' at the end of Kabir's bulletin looked forced to me,

4) Ananya, Ananya, why are you becoming worse than Richa, in ignoring Kabir's contribution to ensure his team gets what they deserve. I totally hated it when she gave credit to Shreya for Ronnie's promotion, when it was made very clear in the meeting that it was Kabir's idea to promote Ronnie. Yes, I understand that the makers wanted to make Annaya sing Shreya's praises to her mom, so-that Anita's curiosity is piqued, but couldn't they have got some other reason for Annaya to praise Shreya, why to make Ananya overlook Kabir's contribution. It is bad even if he is just a boss, but doubly bad when he is also her BF.

A new wish from me to the makers,

They have set the stage for a dinner from Ronnie to Kashyap family, not sure whether it will be shown though, but if it is shown, can we have the unofficial member of Kashyap family join the party :), atleast Ronnie should acknowledge him for his initiative to promote Ronnie ;)

I am not going to predict whether Anita is going to get swayed by Shreya's nauseating sweetness, from the expression on her face in the precap, she looks more uncomfortable than impressed. But something in Shreya's attitude rouses her wish to talk to Shreya in private (as per spoilers), it doesn't necessarily mean that she is impressed with Shreya. Btw, does Anita look old enough to be mom like for Shreya? Poor her..

Does Kabir take Shreya lightly these days? I think he is cautious with her, but he can't really do anything until her intentions come out, and he has no ways of finding her intentions without she revealing them, he can only hound her which would look very professional, hence he plays the waiting game now. Somewhere I feel Kabir has a clear conscience when it comes to Shreya and their marriage breakup, that makes him to confident about handling Shreya's influence on Ananya, but if he sees Shreya trying to charm Anita, he might feel uneasy and it may make him confront Shreya.

Wonderful short and sweet analysis.

I'm feeling increase of 10 episodes made CVs to add up few fillers to increase number of episodes. that is the reason few episode has exploring Shreya's glory and Baby's unnecessary talks.

Good start for Manav and Ronie. but Kabir focusing same in his news again after 2 hours doesn't look well. they should have done it on next day.

Kabir should have focused something thrilling. now channel focusing to much on human interest stories. there is no space for breaking news.

Today for the first time, fear of knowing Kabir's past is very much evident in ananya's face. I always thought she is avoiding his past only to hide her insecure feeling. for the first time in the end of praising Shreya she felt uncomfortable. she sensed of making some mistake.

Anita as a mother has her own concern. She has seen Kabir. Now meeting Shreya. As a experienced person she should be able to understand Kabir's openness and Shreya's sweet coated act. we have to wait how Cvs turning this meeting.

Ronie has to give treat to Kashyap family now. hope he includes Kabir, Richa and Sunny too.

where is Malvika?

Yesterday, the way they took up the issue of the parents being abandoned, as a topic to be highlighted on independence day, was really commendable ! It was a unique way to mark the independence week ! Instead of going the conventional way of showing all dressed up in tricolor attire and lectures on independence, they really thought out of the box ! Good !

But, apart from this, something really bothered me yesterday! KHALID ! His reaction and conversation with Manav seemed veryyy OTT ! He even went on to say that his show will the highest TRP churner ! That too in front of Kabir ! I dont know, if its a warning signal for his shifting loyalties. Moreover, he has not been giving good vibes since quite some time.. Don't know why I have a feeling that soon something might happen which would lead Kabir to get sidelined in KKN, for a while.. Only for him to comeback with a bang of course !

bt I still felt Ananya-Kabir cud've done more to thr story. It wasn't eye-opening, soul-stirring.. hitting u with a bang.. thts the speciality of Kabir-Ananya!

Anita's reaction to Shreya wud b to b wary of her for her daughter which will prompt her to confront Shreya rather thn Kabir regarding thr past!

Ananya didn't undermine Kabir's contribution she jst hightlighted the fact tht Shreya has brot in some positive and welcoming structural changes! She is superboss and the credit definitely goes to her too! But well she shud sing praises of her bf too! But I see she doesn't feel the need to impress her mom abt her bf anymore!😆

Anita is really a cool mom!

Ananya's escapist attitude! I really hope she realizes it soon enuf. I want Kabir to get upset with her for this!

Kabir had a tag womanizer. it is forgotten after his love confession.

Shreya took Tarini name in her first fight with Kabir when he came back after resignation.

Is his closeness (friendship) with Tarini be only reason for this name?

I don't think so.

many junior reporters might have worked with him. some had crush on him. they misunderstood his closeness or manipulated by Shreya created some events became the reason for this name to him. Tarini is the only girl stood by him with pure friendship. It is my own imagination

still didi mystery is not revealed to us. those kids are forgotten.
