She blushed at him and again heard his phone buzz

The conference room was packed and it was a spectacle.
Kabir walked in and everyone straightened in chair chairs. Ananya realized that Kabir didn't demand respect but he commanded it. They both occupied the empty chairs and Khalid spoke.
Kabir mujhe laga tum saas bahu drama nahn dekhte. Tumne toh aaj ek khud hi script kar diya'- Khalid told him
Khalid channel ki saas toh tum ho. Yeh toh tumhara aur Malvika ka drama hai'- Kabir answered with aplomb
Kabir aisi kya narazgi? Tum toh channel chodne ki baatein karne lag pade. We are a family. Issues sort out ho jaatein hai'- Khalid said
Exactly. That is what I wanted to do but Malvika played her owner's daughters card. Ab kya karein na Khalid self respect ka sawaal hai'- Kabir said as he looked at Malvika
Maine tumhe kuch bhi nahn kaha tha Kabir. Mera point sirf itna tha ki agar Ananya resign kar chukka hai toh what is she still doing as an employee in KKN'- Malvika reasoned.
Aur iska explanation aapko Kabir ne diya. He told you that he never accepted my resignation and I didn't revert with any email. The sole confirmation was on a phone. That is null and void. Hai na Khalid sir'? - Ananya asked Khalid

Not so soon Khalid. I want Maalvika to officially apologise to Ananya'- Kabir announced.
There was pin drop silence in the conference room. Ananya stared at Kabir. She didn't want any preferential treatment.
Arre wah Kabir Sahab, ab toh aap personal ho rahein hai. Matlab job hi hai aapka Ananya ke saath yeh toh personal hai'- Manav who was a silent spectator in the room found his voice.
Manav haan mera ek personal equation hai Ananya ke saath magar yeh apology toh professional hai. Agar main personal pe aa gaya toh keher ho jayega'- he told Manav Gupta with a deathly still voice.
Lag toh personal hi raha hai...'- Manav continued. He didn't want Kabir to join back , he had his eyes set on that coveted position of editor in chief for the longest time.
Kabir just gave him a deathly stare challenging him to speak another word!
Oh Manav. Shut up. Malvika ki apology and what else? Aur kya conditions hai tumhari?'' - Khalid asked him

Oh Manav. Itna hi bura lag raha hai toh please resign and decide early. We have to inform Richa to read the 8 o'clock bulletin then'- Khalid looked at Richa wwho just nodded her head
Waise bhi tum hare breaking news mein sirf Mahaballi Hanuman hote hain'- Khalid told him as the entire conference room suppressed their grin.
Malvika stared at Ananya! Ananya stared defiantly at Malvika knowing that Kabir would have a good reason if he had asked Malvika for an apology.
Apologize and me? What for? Just because I stated a few facts'- Malvika shook her head
Nahn Malvika aplogise for meddling in someone's professional career.'- Kabir told her with authority

Malvika maine pehle bhi kaha ki abhi maine isse personal banaya nahn hai and don't force me to there. Ananya is a valued employee of this organization and you orchestrated her exit from here. You got in touch with that placement agency and asked them to draft an offer that she couldn't refuse. You played with her emotions and nearly jeopardized her career'- Kabir thundered at Malvika
All the eyes in the conference room were fixed on Malvika appalled that she had stooped so low.

Malvika gulped and stared at the conference room. She was stupid but not that stupid! She knew she was cornered.

Ananya looked at her and knew this was long from over !
Its all right. I'm sure you had your reasons no matter how stupid they were'- Ananya gave her a fake smile.
She felt Kabir squeeze her hand from under the table. This man knew when to play his cards! He was a genius and he was hers. She smiled
Great! Kabir tum mere saath chalo mujhe kuch baat karni hai. Everyone else please get back to work. Aaj ka drama samapt hua. Move along!'- Khalid announced as he stepped out of the conference room with Kabir.
The conference room cleared out leaving Ananaya with her friends
"Teri life bhi na puri drama hai'- Richa told her as she hugged her.
Teri life na filmy hai. Full masala story aur ab ek dum mast hero. Chal kya raha hai'?'- Trisha asked Ananya.
Ananya looked at Ronnie knowing her answer was going to hurt him but she didn't want to lie about her relationship either.
Kabir and I confessed about our feelings. He told me he loves me'- she told everyone her eyes not leaving Ronnie
Ronnie came forward and hugged her- Ananya bura lag raha hai magar jyada main khush hun'
She smiled at Ronnie and all her friends! Life was only going to get better from here on!
Suddenly she heard Sunny ask Richa - Oyi Manav sir ruk rahein hai ki jaa rahein hai? Unhone kuch specify nahn kiya. After all humari Richa ji ko last minute bulletin padhna padega'
