AnNie Drabble: U spoiled d r'ship

Hey guys! I'm back with a small drabble of AnNie (Ananya-Ronnie)... The turn in their relationship, and the spoilers made me write this... I hope it has done some justice...

~YOU SPOILED THE RELATIONSHIP~

''I think, you are my best friend Ronnie, and we should keep it that way only...'' Ananya subtly began telling her best friend Ronnie who had proposed her into a love relationship the last night amidst the heavy down-pour...
She had already fallen in love in an unsaid relationship with her boss-turned-new friend... As much as she thought about Ronnie in that sense, she couldn't think of anybody else in that place, except Kabir...

Ronnie's smile turned somber hearing her out... He after gaining lots of courage and constant pushing by Richa, he spoke his heart out in the best manner he could with romance setting in the background with the lovely showers pouring... He was sure, she would say a yes eventually seeing the love in his eyes...
But, the reciprocation of even the selfless love doesn't come with a guarantee.. And here his best friend-turned-love, Ananya had just rejected her on no grounds...

''Tu Kabir sir se pyaar karne lagi hai na?'' , Ronnie couldn't resist asking... And Ananya gave no answers... She just looked down at the wooden patterns of the table in the cafeteria they were sitting in...
Ronnie had gleam in his eyes- '' Mujhe mera jawaab mil gaya Ananya... I just wish wo Kabir tumhara dil na todd de... It hurts real bad when the heart breaks...'' And he was off from the place wiping his tears off...

''Hie!'', Ananya came the next morning, and sat next to Ronnie's desk trying to start a normal conversation as she always did... She took out a card from her bag, but before she could give it to him, he got up from his chair and went off... And a dejected Ananya kept the ''sorry'' and ''You are my best friend'' card on his desk, and went off.

''Guys, lo na... Maa ne halwa banaaya hai...'' Ananya shared her tiffin box among her friends in the cafeteria... It had been a month now... A month, since her's and Ronnie's confrontation... Though both of them were a part of the same group, but they weren't the same... Ronnie has started being aloof, and Ananya inspite of several efforts couldn't revive back the magic of her friendship with her best friend... It pained as well suffocated her to the being seeing her friend totally apart from her life...

All the friends took a spoon of the halwa, while Ronnie appeared to be busy in his phone while all the friends scattered off to work, and finally he too started walking off when Ananya stopped him- ''Ronnie, tu bhi khaa na halwa... Maa ne banaaya hai...'', she tried the one last, ditch effort to make him talk...

Ronnie just have a half hearted smile and said- '' No, Thanks Ananya... Mujhe bhook nahi hai...

Ananya was infuriated... '' Bhook nahi hai ya tum khaana hi nahi chahte? Kya... Kya chaahte kya ho tum?

Ronnie appeared dumb- '' Maine kya kiya...?''

Ananya was withering with anger- ''Kya kiya? You have been constantly aloof to me Ronnie... Meri kya ghalti hai? Yahi ke main tumse pyaar nahi karti?''

Ronnie turned around and started walking off... He wasn't comfortable talking again... But Ananya was way too agitated to stop now... She held him by his arm, and swung him to face her... Her anger now started swimming in her eyes, and started flowing in the form of hot, fat tears, never ready to stop, as she started finally speaking her heart out- '' You know Ronnie, I usually do not regret doing things in my life, but I am regretting to even hear you out confessing... I wish I hadn't... And even if I had, I should have half heartedly though, but would have accepted your proposal... Even if I didn't love you...''

Ronnie shook his head negatively- '' I don't want your love Ananya, of you never did to me in that sense...''

Ananya was furious- '' That is the problem Ronnie... You no longer behave like my best friend you used to be... You are no longer that person at all... I just wish there wasn't any love between us... That one uniting emotion broke us apart... You have finished everything... You spoiled the magic... You ruined up our unique relationship... You just ended it up!''

And a highly dejected and sad Ananya walked off rubbing her eyes off to Kabir's cabin, to report for her work... And the same sad-dejected Ronnie to the PVR for his work... The relationship did got it's blot... But does every relationship needs the face of romantic love everytime? Couldn't a boy and girl be just friends? Best friends?

and is that soo much difficult to accept a denial for your love?
